Crema's Take
“Tucked into Manlius, this intimate neighborhood gem trades flashy coffee culture for genuine hospitality and surprisingly excellent food—think crispy grilled burgers, eggplant paninis, and creative seasonal soups that elevate a simple café visit into something special. The exposed rustic wood and cozy layout create the perfect low-key gathering spot where regulars and families linger over espresso drinks without feeling rushed, and the staff's warmth makes you feel genuinely welcomed from the moment you walk in. It's the kind of place where you go for coffee but stay for the whole experience, pastries included.”

Wow!!! Cheese curds delicious and the marinara was fabulous. The burger spot on with a beautiful grilled bun, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles. I can't get past the taste of the burger!! Something stands out with the flavor...not sure what it was, but it was the tastiest burger we ever had! The salad was so fresh with strawberries, cantaloupe, pistachios to name a few items on it. I have drove past this for years and never noticed it . The place was packed. We will be back!!
We stopped in here for lunch on a whim the other day. We did not know we needed a reservation but the hostess was able to fit us in. I got the eggplant panini and it was delicious. The two other people in our group got some form of a chicken wrap and both said they were good. All came with chips, some pasta salad and a pickle. Overall had a pleasant experience here. The décor inside is so cute.
Visited Cafe 119 last Thursday with my partner and nephew. It was busy but we didn't have to wait long for a table. It's a small, comfortable space, not too noisy. I had the Pumpkin Butternut Squash Soup, which was great and the Eggplant Amalfi, which was tasty and just the right size for a small lunch. My nephew had the Fried Cheese Curds, which would have been enough for a meal, and the Club Sandwich, which he enjoyed, my partner had the special Barbecue Chicken Sandwich, which he rated excellent. Service was just the right amount of attentive. The desserts looked tempting, but we were too full to try any. Maybe on the next visit.
Amazing dinner with family! We arrived early (5pm) Friday where we were warmly welcomed and served quickly by the friendly staff. My mother and I had wine and my daughters had waters; nice selection of beer and wine. The menu was very lovely with many fresh options, unique specials and kid-friendly standards. I chose the tuna special (see photo) and was thoroughly impressed! All of us had wonderful meals. The service was good and we found the place to fill up quickly and thus the staff was busy hustling around the floor. The atmosphere was pleasant and cozy with a relaxed vibe; very clean and well-appointed! I hope they continue to expand dinner hours as they're a breath of fresh air in Manlius! Highly recommend!!
Stumbled on this tiny place by accident and man am I glad I did! The moment we entered I was greeted by one of the servers and seated at my table. The decor in here is unique, with exposed rustic wood beams and Canadian decor. It makes the whole restaurant seem much bigger than it actually is and makes it a quaint little place. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad and when it came I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! The Dijon mustard and Asian sauce worked together so well! The chicken was nicely cooked and really crispy, the cashews offered a nice added bit of crunch and the mandarin oranges gave some acidity and sweetness. I was very impressed with the offerings at this restaurant and would strongly suggest it to anyone!
