Crema's Take

Mellelo Coffee Roasters is a charming, seasonally decorated spot in Central Point where espresso lovers and pour-over purists alike find their groove, complete with their own house roasts and a quirky partitioned study nook that regulars swear by. The space strikes that rare balance between a serious coffee destination and a genuinely welcoming hangout, with both indoor and outdoor seating plus a full breakfast menu that makes lingering over your cup feel entirely intentional. It's the kind of place where the coffee itself is the main character—phenomenal shots and thoughtful brewing methods—but the atmospheric touches and community-focused design keep people coming back to meet, work, and settle in.

Beautiful caffe', but my sister has witnessed that those who bring in bibles, confess their Christian faith, talk about Jesus, etc., are asked to leave "due to the restaurant being busy" even when it isn't. This is what some of the Barista say to Christian customers-- even though not all tables and places have a customer occupying them. Another Barista said, "We are getting more Christians and we do not want that.". My sister is a minister and the Barista and customers do not know her, but of them there are those that are very verbally disrespectful of her valid position in society. A Barista asked only her, who is a Christian, to go outside in the cold to sit for the same reasons as they say to other Christians, "It's busy, you have been here too long", but no one else ! Some people stay two or three hours on their computers and they are not asked to leave. My sister told me that she heard a Barista say that they would later ask her to permanently leave the property (while occupying a cold winter chair, outside) because she was a Christian ! They say it is the "owner" telling them to ask this of customers, but after hearing comments from Barista about removing Christians from the Caffe', it seems to be only faith based targetting. And, you have to question wither it is the owner, or just the Barista, or both, doing this because it is religious discrimination.

Mellelo Coffee Roasters is a quaint coffee shop! There is indoor/outdoor seating. They also sell their own roast of coffee beans. Many breakfast items to choose from as well as a variety of coffee drinks. They have a drive thru for those who need to be quick! Highly recommend them!

Love this place! Was looking for something different when I visited from out of town and this place really hit the spot. Coffee was phenomenal and the atmosphere was quaint. Love the Christmas decorations and music!

This place was absolutely adorable and they really had it decked out for Halloween so we were happy to have found it. However, the staff were not engaging or friendly which made our experience so bad, we grabbed our drinks (which were delicious btw) and left.

I come here regularly to meet people and to study. It is usually relatively quirky compared to other coffee shops and there is a cool little room partitioned off from the main area with a big table inside, which is really rare in a coffee shop and really useful. The coffee and smoothies are always delicious and the baristas are always sweet and patient no matter how long you take to decide 😂
