Our server was friendly and helpful with answering questions, she was great! The food was okay, but pricey for what you get. I ordered the shrimp tacos which each only had two shrimp and tablespoon of slaw. I ate mostly tortilla until I opted to not even finish the tortilla. My boyfriend enjoyed his fish tacos. Salsa was awesome. It does feel like another generic Sysco restaurant. I want to come back and try their huge margarita menu, the coffee and margs sounded creative. They also hold community events which I very highly support as we need more third spaces :) Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, toilet had dirt (I hope) and other smudges on it. The main dining room was cute though.

I tried TJ’s Burritos Bloomfield and had such a great experience from start to finish! We chose to sit at the bar, and right in front of me were fresh herbs growing — used for their drinks, which was such a cool touch. We were handed three different menus packed with options, and the bartenders were super friendly and happy to answer all our questions. We even got to meet the owner, who was just as awesome to chat with. We ordered the Cuban quesadilla, and let me tell you — it was so good that I’m already planning to go back for another this week. We also tried their drink bucket special — a huge margarita for just $10! Overall, highly recommend this spot — great vibes, great food, and great people. We definitely will be going back here soon!
Food was good but $6 for a tiny pork belly taco was a bit much. The burrito was a good size and tasted good also. That was a good value at $15. The Tito's flight could of used a bit more Tito's in my opinion. All I tasted was syrup. My servicer was young and inexperienced but nice.
It’s becoming an unspoken tradition in my family to visit TJ’s Burritos when we get home after a flight at Bradley, and I’m here for it! We decided to change it up and come to their newer Bloomfield location, and we found it to be consistent to what we know and love from the original in East Granby. We always love their variety of flights and creative menu items, and you know you’ll leave full and happy! I already can’t wait until my next visit!
