Their massive cinnamon rolls and hearty breakfast skillets draw both quick coffee-grabbers and folks settling in for a slow morning, with standout staff like Jenny who keep the coffee flowing before your cup runs dry. Delicious, fast and clean diner. Jenny is an amazing server, kept the drinks full too before the old drink ran out! Thank you Jenny! Cinnamon roll was the size of a dinner plate!
This was my 1st time visiting this establishment and I must say Randy’s Southside Diner really impressed me. The staff was both friendly and professional — the kind of service where you feel taken care of without anyone hovering along with a causal relaxed atmosphere. The quality of the food was excellent, and the portions were generous for the price. I ordered the Seven Star breakfast, which they recommend for hearty appetites, and it absolutely lived up to the name. Everything came out hot, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. For the value, service, and overall experience, Randy’s Diner is an easy place to recommend.
Love trying out diners and this one was so great. The portions were huge for the value, food was delicious, and service was great. If I’m ever back in grand junction I’ll be going back!
Service was good and that's about it. Order the chicken fried skillet. Potatoes were undercooked and so was my over medium egg. No cheese, not much chicken, and a ton of hard potatoes. Order a biscuit and gravy side. The biscuit was the most dense biscuit I've ever had in my life, I could barely cut through it with a fork. It was actually kind of funny how terrible it was. The bathroom needs to be updated, pretty gross in there.
In grand junction for the week. We love to eat at local hole in the wall places and this is definitely it. Our server was super sweet and welcoming. She suggested the country Benedict and the greener supreme with country fried steak. And I must say everything was made fresh and tasted delicious. Would definitely come back here any time I’m in town.
