Crema's Take
“Tucked near campus, Caffé Lucé strikes that rare balance between a buzzing study spot and a genuinely peaceful retreat, with patrons raving about everything from their notably stellar cortados to creative signature drinks. The warm, cozy atmosphere and genuinely welcoming staff make it the kind of place where people find themselves returning daily, whether they're cramming through finals, meeting friends, or simply savoring a perfectly crafted espresso drink alongside pastries.”

This is absolutely one of my favorite coffee shops on campus, and has practically saved my life during finals on multiple occasions! This is a great place to come and hang out at with a lovely atmosphere and the staff are always friendly. If you're in a rush but still need caffeine, this is also your place - the staff are quick and efficient as well as friendly!
Quick friendly service. Relaxing classic cafe vibe. The real star was the cortado though. Arguably the best I’ve ever had! Perfection.
We went to Caffe Luce almost every single day during our week performing at Tornabene Theatre, that’s how much we loved it! The place has a warm and cozy vibe, perfect for relaxing or catching up after rehearsals. They serve real coffee here — strong, rich, and just how we like it. The baristas are super nice and always make sure to get it right, even when I ask for an extra shot of espresso :) I guess we Indonesians really love our strong coffee! The atmosphere is chill but lively, with friendly staff and a comfortable setup for chatting or working. It’s easy to see why this spot is a favorite among locals and students. Overall, Caffe Luce became our little daily ritual in Tucson!
A great place close to campus to grab a coffee. Ample seating. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Even though it is usually busy inside due to its proximity to campus, the café environment is quiet and calm. Indoor seating maybe harder to find in peak hours, but some outside seating is almost always available. Great to work at or to chat with a friend. Beautiful paintings on the a wall too
I wish I could give half stars - it would be like a 4.6 ⭐ review but I'm too nice to drop the eating because... The Almond Chai latte was fantastic, like best in a long time BUT the coffee shop experience was not a 5 ⭐ affair. This is a surprise as it's just west of the U of A campus. In the future I would totally stop in for the Chai but NOT stay to do work. It does have WiFi but not as many electrical plugs as I would have expected.
