I really really wanted to love this place. I love supporting small business. As far as the product, I struggle To give even three stars, but the service was five stars So one star seemed cruel. This place is incredibly overpriced even for small business and for the genre. The unfortunate part is ordering a special TT was not $13 like most of the drink items, but turns out was $17 plus tax. Paid with cash plus tip basically spent $20. The Sun kissed specialty tea was anything but special. It literally tastes like Sunny D and Tang had a baby. It was chalky, even after shaking it up quite a bit and so sweet with some tart that it was overbearing. I can’t handle sweet drinks, so this had by far exceeded my limit. Even my husband who loves sugar and sugary drinks, said this was too much. He thought it had a “Kool-Aid resemblance” powder packet in it, not even joking. It of course, didn’t. So far, a $20 drink in this economy, was such a big letdown. I don’t have a problem with drinks tasting healthy (I make homemade vegan smoothies), but I do have a problem with it tasting worse than anything I could do at home. I’m not trying to be cruel in any way but we did give it a shot and was left disappointed. Now before anyone says well, you didn’t have to buy a drink that was over $17, my husband did not know the price until after they had made the drink. With that being said, we’re not going to say no thank you being it is a small business. You chalk it up and take the loss (much like the after taste it leaves in your mouth)

So excited to have Lifestyle Nutrition in the area (I drive from north Tacoma, it’s worth it)! Met a friend there for drinks because we wanted something healthier than just a coffee shop. It’s been a great find! The owners are so nice and very knowledgeable about their products. The shakes are amazing and it’s hard to believe they aren’t milkshakes they’re that good! The protein coffee is the best way to start your day, delicious and filling without all the extra sugar and calories of traditional coffee shops. I hope to see more locations added for more access. They beat all the sugar filled “smoothie” shops that have dominated the area previously.

I’ve been eyeing this new spot since they put up their sign a while ago every time I’ve driven by. Finally saw that they updated their Google business page and got excited that they offer protein shakes, energy teas, and more! Had to try and was instantly amazed by how good the drinks were, but most importantly, impressed by the nutrition facts and creativity they put in it. All drinks are sugar free! They just opened last month (June)! Great experience ~ they are so nice and welcoming. They partner with Dude’s donuts from Port Orchard and have donuts every Thursday! Will be returning soon to try other drinks!
