Crema's Take

Tucked away in Cannon Beach, this beloved bakery and cafe is a love letter to breakfast done right, where the owner Linda and her small team pour genuine passion into everything from impossibly flaky cinnamon rolls to crab quiches that locals can't stop raving about. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between a quick caffeine stop and a leisurely morning—fresh flowers on every table, a quiet charm that feels the opposite of touristy, and the kind of genuine warmth that makes you feel like a regular from your first visit. It's the kind of place where the food tastes like care, and you'll leave wondering how something this good remains so beautifully under-the-radar.

This place is crazy good. We had the quiche of the day(crab) which was possibly the best quiche I have ever had. Baked goods are also incredible. The cinnamon roll and maple bar are the best I’ve had in Oregon

Just had breakfast here this morning with my husband and I have to say it was one of the best veggie omelets I have ever had. The hash browns were also delicious. Definitely try there Italian sodas they have the best flavor and they are not too sweet at all. Will definitely come back to this place if we are in the area.

Food was amazing, had the cutest, chillest atmosphere, and ran by just a couple busy people you can tell are so passionate about what they do. Just what I needed. The opposite of a tourist trap! Give these people your business! Now! Don’t wait an hour to be seated at another brunch place and come here instead.

Food was really good and filling. The lady at the counter was so sweet and it was a great experience with the fresh flowers on every table and the cleanliness was great. Quiet and perfect atmosphere. There was only one other table when we walked in and when we left we were the only table. This place should be busier with how good it is! Maybe it’s busier earlier in the morning. Where we sat it was such a beautiful view of the river. If I ever come back to this area I will be back here for breakfast!

Such a hidden little gem! Our family of 4 dined for breakfast shortly after opening, on a Sunday morning in wintertime. We stepped up to order at the counter, & owner Linda, was very pleasant. Her menu has a variety of breakfast items for everyone - from veggie omelets, to quiche from scratch, to French toast, & of course, homemade pastries. Our oldest ordered the French toast & it looked sweet & delicious (he devoured it before I could try a bite, unfortunately). (See photo) Our youngest had a homemade maple bar - omg yum. It was so fresh that it was still warm! The hubs & I each had the croissant breakfast sandwich. (See photo). So yummy! Good cut of ham, melty cheddar, & fresh scrambled egg. A side of fresh berries was served alongside the entrees. The atmosphere is quaint & cute - eclectic mismatched solid hardwood tables & chairs with fresh flowers on the tables in a historic mason hall. We sat at a table right at the window & there is a lovely view of the Nehalem River. We’ll definitely be back anytime we take a trip to Rockaway! Thanks Linda!
