Crema's Take
“This Portland gem excels at turning a coffee stop into a genuine mood-lifter, whether you're grabbing a "Touch of Green" smoothie to rally your team or settling into their garden with Maine blueberry overnight oats and cold brew. The staff's genuine warmth and knack for nailing both the classics and creative signatures like the Raspberry Magnolia make it feel less like a caffeine transaction and more like visiting friends who happen to make exceptional drinks.”

My coworker got our staff "touch of green" smoothies on the busiest work day of the year, and it boosted staff morale SOOOO MUCH. The smoothie was refreshing and invigorating.... literally probably the best smoothie I've ever had. After that hard day at work, I dragged myself to the gym and ran my weekly 5k 30seconds PER MILE faster than usual- I credit the smoothie. nutritious, light, and replenishing.
Wasn’t feeling well one morning and looked up a place for bowls. These guys are conveniently right off of Washington Ave coming off of 295. The bowl was delicious and gave me the boost I needed, customer service was kind and down to earth. I will definitely be swinging through more often now that I know they’re there.
Great cold brew and amazing overnight oats with Maine blueberries!! Love the cute garden and picnic tables outside and the owner and staff are so sweet and fast. Can’t wait to go back.
Found this gem on Google while passing by on the interstate towards the end of a long overnight drive. Fast, healthy, yummy, clean bathrooms, and incredible customer service - suggesting a "Help is on the Way" rejuvenating shot after asking how my day was going. The shot did the job and the Speedway Banana bowl was a wonderful lunch. The world could use more "just off the interstate" stops like this one.
My wife and I have been here a handful of times and we keep coming back because the customer service is incredible and the smoothies are consistently delicious. I always get the Raspberry Magnolia and my wife gets the Miracle! We live 45 minutes from The Grateful Cup and whenever we come to Portland for something, we stop here before heading home. The last time we visited, the owner gave us some tips on making good smoothies and we are pumped to try some of the pointers at home… but let’s be real, ours will never taste this good! If you’re in the area, don’t forget to grab a smoothie, juice, or coffee here! The atmosphere is also quaint and welcoming, and there’s a parking lot which is great so you’re not searching for street parking. I can’t speak highly enough of The Grateful Cup!
