Crema's Take

This Roselle Park gem captures that rare coffee shop magic where the espresso is genuinely excellent and the pastries—especially their pan de bono—taste like they were just made (because they were). The space itself has become the draw for regulars: it's the kind of calm, beautifully designed spot that makes you want to linger over your cappuccino rather than rush out, and the staff clearly takes pride in making everyone feel at home.

Lovely matcha, amazing bouncy pan de bono. I’ve been to many coffee shops but this food was the freshest, price worthy I’ve had in a while. Will come back again !

Such a good find. First thing you notice is the vibe. Clean, cozy, calm. The kind of place you actually want to sit in instead of grabbing and running. The pics say it all. Beautiful pastry display with fresh croissants and baked goods that actually look like they were made that morning, not shipped in. Tons of options too, sweet and savory, so everyone finds something. Solid coffee. Smooth, balanced, not bitter. The iced coffee I had was Strong but not aggressive, creamy, and refreshing. You can tell they care about what they’re serving, not just pumping cups out. Service was great. Friendly, chill, and welcoming. No attitude, no rushing, just good energy. Overall, great coffee, great food variety, and a really nice ambiance. Perfect for a casual meet up, a quick work break, or just treating yourself. Definitely adding this spot to my regular rotation.

I had the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich, which was packed with great flavor, though the bread was a little tough to bite through. I also ordered a hot Caramel Latte—it was absolutely delicious! The Mango Smoothie was another highlight, tasting fresh and natural. The atmosphere was excellent—clean, aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable. I especially enjoyed sitting by the window. Customer service was also wonderful; the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience with tasty food, drinks, and a relaxing environment. I’ll definitely be back!

Visiting NJ from Arizona. Looking for a local friendly coffee shop, I found this wonderful place called Salento House Coffee Shop in Roselle Park. Being from Colombia, this place has become part of my top ten. They don't only offer Colombian pastries like Cambray pastry, a delicious bread/empanada filled with cheese and guava, and They also serve Pandebono, which is a cheese-filled version of Cambray pastry, among other Colombian delights. But if you're not into Colombian food, they also have croissants, desserts, really good coffee, and other hot and cold drinks. I'm telling you, I spent about four hours in this place. There was no need to worry about parking, as it was accessible from both the front and back of the building. The owners, Luis Carlos and Patricia, were There. Really friendly and making sure you get excellent customer service; they told me they are there most of the time and are happy to greet you personally. In short, you should definitely visit this place. You won't regret it.
