Crema's Take

This San Gabriel gem captures authentic Taiwanese breakfast culture with impressive precision, from their crispy golden toast to inventive savory pancakes and creamy milk tea that's genuinely hard to find elsewhere. The space itself feels thoughtfully curated with charming details and a genuinely warm staff that makes you want to linger, whether you're solo with a coffee or catching up with friends over corn soup and egg crepes. It's the kind of neighborhood spot that nails both the food and the feeling, delivering real Taiwan comfort without pretension.

Very cute cafe serving authentic Taiwanese breakfast food. The flavors and menu offerings were on point for that sweet Taiwan breakfast that is hard to find here. The staff were very sweet and attentive (they even came over to close the shades in case it was too sunny), and the food came out quickly. Would highly recommend to anyone who is missing breakfast/brunch foods.

This place is cute. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh. They do Taiwanese breakfast and I got their corn soup, chocolate toast, milk tea, pork egg pancake roll, basil Taiwan sausage pancake, ham sandwich, sizzling noodles, and egg tarts. The corn soup was like an egg drop soup and was thick, savory, with pops of sweetness coming from the corn bits. The chocolate toast was a thick slice of milk bread with a thin not too sweet layer of chocolate spread. A bit too bready for me. The milk tea was lightly sweet and had a strong tea flavor. The pork egg pancake roll was chewy, a bit eggy, and green oniony with a bit of nutty notes coming from some lettuce. The basil Taiwan sausage pancake was really good and had a sweet snappy Taiwanese sausage inside with bright basil and a super crispity flakey scallion pancake. There was also an egg that kinda got lots in there tho. The ham sandwich came with thin layers of ham, egg, cucumber, and mayo with 4 slices of bread. Tasted like the ones my grandma would make me and was also too bready for me. The sizzling noodles were super hearty and filling, peppery and soft and came with like this meatloaf thing that wasn’t bad and paired pretty well with the noodles. The egg tarts were nice and flakey, buttery, and not too sweet. Everything is made in house everyday and actually tasted pretty authentic and like my grandma made it. It is pretty good but for me it’s eh.

Morning Delight Cafe serves a comforting and authentic Taiwanese breakfast. We had the crispy roasted bread, which was perfectly golden on the outside and soft on the inside, and it paired especially well with their corn soup—warm, smooth, and lightly sweet, just like a classic Taiwanese breakfast staple. The milk tea was creamy and well-balanced, not too sweet, making it a great complement to the savory dishes. Everything tasted freshly made and satisfying without being heavy. The cafe has a bright, cheerful yellow interior that creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient, making it an easy place to enjoy a calm morning meal. A great spot for Taiwanese-style breakfast and drinks.

This quaint little cafe is the perfect spot for Taiwanese comfort breakfast/brunch. I love their egg crepes, you can't go wrong with any of the flavors. I also like their fish burger, it was huge and crispy, and the pickles paired so well with it. There's not a lot of tables or places to sit but the food comes out fast! The staff are also very friendly. A must try if you like taiwanese breakfast foods!

First time here and let me just say, I adore it. Love love love the details in this place! ☺️ They have the cutest decor and very friendly atmosphere. I got the pork burger and corn soup. I really wanted to try the chicken burger because my best friend ordered it and it looked amazing. The crunch and size were massive, and the addition of cucumbers inside the burgers are nice and refreshing. The corn soup is sweet, and very comforting. Reminds me of the Japanese corn potage a bit, and the flaky puff pastry on top of the soup was my fave. Would definitely come back again! I’m so glad I got to try this restaurant, it’s an eggcellent place 🍳😌
