Crema's Take

Nestled in Old Colorado City, this charming tea room transforms afternoon tea into a full theatrical experience, complete with themed events like Doctor Who tea parties and live harp performances that make every visit feel special. Their rotating menu of loose-leaf teas pairs beautifully with fresh, flavorful pastries and light fare, but what truly sets them apart is their genuinely attentive service—the kind where your teacup never sits empty and staff like Rick remember you're there to savor the moment, not rush through it. Whether you're celebrating a birthday or simply craving a proper high tea escape, this is the kind of place that transforms an afternoon into a cherished memory.

I've been to the British pantry for tea twice now. One was a general high tea for my birthday. Could not recommend more! Today I attended a Doctor who themed tea party. Again, an excellent experience! Doctor who themed menu, as well as a quiz game.

Quaint little place to have high tea if you’re around Old Colorado City. The food was pretty good, but the service is above and beyond. Rick is super attentive and so friendly! This is also a good place to get some authentic British goods to go.

We lucked out as they had a cancellation and we were able to have the tea room experience. It was lovely. The food was fresh, delicious and flavorful. My tea cup was never empty. Service was wonderful and took photos for us. I will be going back again.

I found this place pretty impressive. Went in at a friend's recommendation, reserved for the noon teatime, and really enjoyed the experience. The shop itself has some cool things, and they vary up both their store selection and their tea/lunch menu by the season. I generally disdain having to make reservations for just about anything, but the staff is warm and personable and they prepare the food per order for tea time, so it was well worth it. The place is unassuming from the outside, but the place is charming and the noon tea time kind of made my day. I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll be recommending it to my friends.

What can I say! What an amazing experience! I just had my 36th birthday here and it was the BEST experience ever. The food was ON POINT and the tea was delicious. There was a live harp player and the service was amazing. Not once did we run out of tea, sugar, or cream. They even brought us out more clotted cream and jam for one of my guests who wanted more. The only suggestion I would have for improvement is a tea menu. There is only one tea available and it would be amazing to try different teas through out the experience like I’ve had at other houses across the nation. When you’re in the springs this is definitely a place to stop by for a wonderful afternoon bite and then go walking around old Colorado City. We WILL be back
