Crema's Take
“Bluestone Lane pulls off something rare near Grand Central: a genuinely thoughtful café space with rich, well-executed espresso drinks and breakfast burritos that actually justify the wait. The tiny footprint means you're either perching at one of two tables or taking your flat white to the sidewalk on 42nd Street, but the warm interior design and capable baristas make it feel like a deliberate destination rather than a transit-station pit stop. Skip it if you're in a rush—expect 20+ minutes for food—but hit it if you want specialty coffee that tastes like the baristas actually care.”
What to expect
Specialty coffee. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly, quick-grab, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu.

I’ve never been to bluestone lane before but it was freezing in NYC and I was looking for a good coffee near Grand Central. The inside of the store is so nice! I knew i immediately would plan to come back, it felt so welcoming, bright, and airy even on a 12 degrees gray winter…

Cute and neat cafe with a great variety of food! The service was pretty fast. The PB blueberry smoothie was good, too! They also have a bathroom, which is a plus. I will come back to this place! They have a couple of tables for outdoor seating.
