“If you're after house-made pastries that actually justify the hype, Appletree Gourmet is worth the trip—the owners are genuinely passionate and it shows in every croissant and danish that comes out of their kitchen. Fair warning: the coffee is hit-or-miss and the food leans casual, but the warm service and thoughtfully designed space make it a solid neighborhood spot for a leisurely breakfast or meeting a friend.”

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, quick-grab, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast and pastries on the menu. Family friendly.

The place is cool. Close to subway and it's halal. They have varieties of sandwiches, burgers and pastries. The staff is friendly and service was quick. I ordered Chicken Banh Mi, it was $15.00 and chicken was dry. I don't mind paying the high price but food has to be good.
