Crema's Take

This downtown Coeur d'Alene cornerstone has earned its reputation as the kind of place where you'll want to linger for hours, whether you're working on your laptop, meeting a friend, or just soaking in the genuinely welcoming vibe. The espresso-focused menu shines through thoughtfully executed traditional and specialty drinks—their breves and lattes are legitimately excellent—and the roaster-owner Michael and his staff clearly care about getting every cup right. With generous indoor and outdoor seating (including a fire pit), solid light food offerings, and that rare combination of serious coffee craft and genuine hospitality, it's easy to see why locals and visitors alike keep coming back.

I’ve been to CDA a number of times, and during my most recent seven-week visit, CDA Coffee Co became my go-to spot for coffee and a place to chill, reflect, and get work done. I love the atmosphere and the architecture -- it’s a great space to settle in for a while. The staff is amazing: always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. And yes…the coffee is GREAT. :-) This place easily feels like a second home!

Was in Spokane for an event and wanted to check out CDA because I've heard so many great things about the area and the people. Popped over in a Sunday morning for a latte and something to eat. I'm so glad I did. Unfortunately it was really foggy so I couldn't see the terrain and surroundings. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, the latte was perfect and the Danish was excellent. Big space with plenty of seating, quiet background music and a surprisingly cozy atmosphere for being as big as it is. I've been around the coffee industry in the Portland area for 20+ years, worked as a part time barista after retirement for a little while, and make my own at home every day when I'm not on the road. This place gets it right! I'm more of a purist, so I can only speak to the traditional milk-based espresso drinks. Perfectly stretched and steamed milk, balanced espresso and top notch presentation.

Outstanding place in CDL for a coffee and some great atmosphere. Had the chance to meet Michael, the GM and Roaster. He was awesome and had a wonderful staff. My wife's Breve "was amazing" as she said. My Americano was perfect. 5 stars. Great people. Great atmosphere. Great coffee drinks.

Coffee was great. This place has a ton of indoor seating space, and the atmosphere is very …. hipster? Cool? Too cool for me, so I opted for the outdoor seating by the fire which was very relaxing on a fall afternoon.

Awesome experience! The atmosphere was amazing and the coffee was phenomenal. They are serving up great coffee and food in the heart of downtown Coeur D'Alene. If you are in the Coeur D'Alene area, then you should definitely check it out.
