Beach Hippie Coffee ®

Amazing cafe!! The owner, employees, and customers are all so friendly. This is a must visit if you’re just visiting Myrtle Beach for a short weekend. We ordered the coffee flight, the shayster bagel, the hippie bus, and 2 coffees to go. Favorites were the banana foster latte and the mascarpone cold brew.

What a wonderful coffee shop to bless the Grand Strand!! 🤩 Vacationers and locals alike, don’t miss out on the amazing quality and service of Beach Hippie. Everyone is SO beyond kind and the food & drinks are SPECTACULAR! While here with friends, I got one of their menu listed bagel sandwiches and a latte flight - YEAH, a latte flight! What an amazing addition to a cafe’s menu! You even get to decorate your flight with your name and all you’re wanting. You can even get a combination of matcha AND a traditional espresso based latte. Cold or hot, milk preference, etc. - SO amazing!! Speaking directly with the owner was great, too! You can’t be a stranger at Beach Hippie and it is spectacular.

Probably the best experience I’ve had at a coffee shop. Ordered the coffee flight which was delicious. The owner offered me an ice brew on the house (actually 2) and it was perfect. The food was hot and delicious. The atmosphere was quaint. And prices were decent. Then the owner walked us over to his gift shop that sold a bunch of cool stuff. The over all experience was wonderful, these owners take pride in their coffee and their customer service. Definitely worth going back.

This place can get busy, but OMG the coffee is worth any wait. We each had a coffee flight. You can choose any 4 items and you can chose if you want them hot or cold. We loved the coffee so much we actually also left with coffee beans and a cup of coffee. I can't wait to get coffee on our way out of town to go back home. The owner is extremely nice and you should check out the retail shop on the corner. A bunch of unique items.

I’d say this is a gem for Myrtle Beach. I love the vibes. The artwork on the walls to the string lights above and the personality of the staff who are nice. I ordered a cappuccino that was good. I don’t expect anything super-fancy. I’m spoiled by having some well awarded and prestigious roasters in the Raleigh-Durham area where I live (Black and White (have world barista champions), Counter Culture Coffee, Little waves, and Joe Van Gogh). So my five stars are for what this place brings to Myrtle Beach - which I’m sure is quality for the area and a nice attitude. Oh, and to note - they roast their own beans and have done a nice job!
