Eagan's Drive-In

This was recommended to us by a friend and said to have juicy/ messy burgers. We ordered the Big Tom, fries and drink. The burger was not juicy. It was an average burger patty with cheese and fixings. The 'Goop' sauce was really thick mustard/ mayo mix. I would have preferred a thinner sauce. The fries were your standard frozen crinkle cut fries. Not crispy and bland. Adding $7.50 for fries is a lot for frozen fries. Since my husband asked for a large drink instead of medium, they added another $1.75. By what i understand it's $6.00 to add fries and drink but another $3.25 to make both a large. I can't eat but a few bites so I had a couple of his fries. I'm glad I didn't order them myself. The gentleman who greeted us was great. Smiled, friendly and answered all our questions. Food did come up fairly quickly. Everything there is self serve. You go up too a window when your number is called and get your own drinks. The cleanliness left much to be desired. The floors had stains on them and the bathroom appeared ok besides the floors. I was disappointed as I was looking forward to a juicy burger. Overall, the diners feels run down. I did like the retro arcade games and photos they had, but I don't see myself returning.

We have driven by the Tumwater WA Eagan's several times. It sits back off the road and a bit hard to see but now our vehicle is like a homing pigeon! Their burgers are cooked just right; the price is reasonable; the atmosphere is clean and quaint. Guess there's a reason they have been in biz since the '50's, I think. I haven't tried their milkshakes but the flavors are many. Stop in. Your taste buds and belly will thank you. And, your vehicle will be on remote.

I ordered two burgers, two fries, and two drinks; total comes out to above $60. I get my food with the bags stapled shut to arrive home only to see i wasnt even given one of my fries and none of the goop sauce I asked for. It seems for awhile now every time ive stopped through here ive been left disappointed. The Westside eagans is better, and honestly I'm just done coming to this place for this price. For the same, if not less, I can get the same kind of food and feel from several competitors in the area.

The burgers are amazing! I feel like the prices are a little much for just a burger itself. I usually buy fries, but the last couple times I've been there the fries were cold or tasted like they just reheated old fries. Everything is great though especially the Goop sauce. This burger spot gives me such nostalgia. It's a great spot that has a lot of indoor seating and some seating in their little garden area. They also have a couple of old pinball machines!

BEST BURGER EVER. Patties are HOT, fixings are COLD. So you get both sensations in the mouth. I love that! Staff are bright, helpful, responsive, and pleasant. They must be paying them enough! Respect. 🫡 Dining area is clean, although in need of some updating. It's a very old place and they certainly have earned the right to do things how they like them. That being said, it could be more comfortable with new tables, chairs, little bit of A/C. They have an outdoor space with multiple settings. I forgot to ask if they do event reservations but it looks like you could host a whole wedding reception here if you wanted too. I'd go to that wedding!!
