Crema's Take

This beloved Seattle spot has cracked the code on the perfect biscuit—crispy, flaky, and impossibly tender all at once—which they showcase in show-stopping breakfast sandwiches like the Spanish Fly that demand to be eaten with a fork. Beyond the exceptional pastries, the coffee drinks are equally top-notch, and the lively weekend atmosphere somehow manages to feel welcoming rather than chaotic, making it ideal whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or settling in for a leisurely breakfast with friends. It's the kind of place where people bike across the city specifically to experience what they've heard about, and leave equally delighted.

One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had (Spanish Fly). The biscuit was flavourful with a crisp outside and fluffy inside. For the sandwich you can decide which variety of biscuit you want and they have seasonal varieties and coffee too. I went the morning of the superbowl and the vibe was great and there was plenty of seating. It is a self-bus restaurant but that just adds to its charm!

One of the best biscuits I’ve had. Crisp on the outside, soft and moist inside, and delicious even on its own. The fig jam is perfectly balanced as well. Lively weekend vibes without feeling crowded, plus a fun, welcoming space. Worth coming back for the biscuit alone.

I'd heard that this place makes really good biscuits, and after being there, I can absolutely confirm that as a fact I ordered the Spanish Fly biscuit sandwich from here, which was between two biscuits, and included pork, egg, cheese, and arugula One thing a little odd was that when I ordered at the cashier, they told me it would take 30 minutes for the food. There really weren't that many people in the place - maybe like 10 or so in total. It ended up being around 45 minutes before I got my food, which is a lot for a counter-service place The biscuits, though, were incredible. I'm ready to call this the best biscuits in Seattle. They were so crispy, so fluffy, and just the opposite of dry. There was depth to these in each bite, and the crunch on the outside - not something you typically associate with biscuits - was amazing. The seasoning, the flakiness; every part of this was perfect. I'd come here and order just a plain biscuit if I could. The other parts of the sandwich were pretty good as well. The cheese was perfectly melted on the bottom, and the egg was fried really well on top. The yolk leaked out a good amount to add moisture and extra flavor to the outside, which was very nice The only part of it I didn't like was the prosciutto. this was an odd choice here, and the flavor of it really contrasted with everything else I was getting. It also tasted quite chewy. For the price of around $15 or so, it doesn't look like a whole lot, but after eating - you realize that was a good amount of food Overall, the biscuits are spectacular - and while the remainder of the sandwich is merely just good - that still puts it pretty high up there. 8.75/10

Incredible biscuits! It’s a perfect combination of soft & crunchy and sweet & salty. The presentation was grand and these sandwiches are definitely a fork-eating situation. Coffee drinks were top notch. They make REAL 6oz cappuccinos!

I’ve been wanting to try morsel for months now and I finally rode my bike there and had a delightful experience. The biscuit was on point! Flaky in the way that makes you pause and appreciate layers. It was warm, lightly golden, and the chives went together well with the bacon and egg. And then there’s the tomato jam!!! I love me some tomato jam so this is why I opted for the “Fast Break” sammie. It’s just sweet enough to lift the biscuit, tangy enough to keep things interesting. I wanted a pile of that tomato jam on my plate honestly. Like my other reviews I dig my sauces!!!! I’ll be back. It was very filling and I didn’t even need to eat for the rest of the day! The workers were kind and upbeat and very welcoming once you walked in the door. Interesting decor inside too! Good vibes!
