Rhythm Zero
32 Kent St, Brooklyn, NY
Crema's Take
“Rhythm Zero is a quiet, espresso-focused spot in Brooklyn that nails the fundamentals while experimenting boldly with signature creations like their coconut americana and maple latte—drinks that reviewers praise for actually delivering on their flavor promises without oversweetening. The thoughtful details, from their distinctive cup holders to the peaceful atmosphere despite crowds, make it feel like a place that respects both craft and comfort, ideal for lingering with a laptop or meeting a friend. Fair warning: their hyped matcha drinks are polarizing (the blackberry pie matcha skews aggressively sweet for some), so you might want to start with their reliable espresso drinks if you're visiting for the first time.”

Ordered a hot cappuccino and it was amazing. The place was so nice and so quiet. It was crowded so I gave up waiting. Btw Their cup holder is so cool!
amazing maple latte (I think it’s seasonal). I hate when lattes claim to have a sweet flavor such as maple or vanilla but they’re not that sweet .. this is perfectly sweet and not too milky! It’s perfect!!!!! They have other fun drinks such as blackberry matcha which I did not try, but look interesting. The space is comfortable, not too crowded, and seemed good for working. Great experience !!!!!
Been seeing this place all over social media so wanted to see what the hype was about. Got the blackberry pie matcha that everyone keeps raving about so review is based on this. Was thoroughly disappointed. Drink looks beautiful in pictures but lack the taste. I did enjoy the blackberry flavor but the matcha was really lacking. I felt like I was drinking straight up milk…maybe the coffee is better but not worth the hype imo.
The blackberry pie flavor was quite overpowering, so it felt less like a matcha latte and more of a sweet pie drink with weak blackberry notes. I might be back for a regular latte to decide whether the matcha itself is worthwhile. But for now, I’d say this $9 drink is better suited for those who prefer really sweet matcha.
Lots of hype around this place and wanted to finally stop by to see what it was all about. The matcha latte was just okay but the show stopper was the coconut americana - it’s unique and delicious. I’d skip out on the pastries as it seems like another shop made them but they were just okay as well. I’d definitely come back for the coconut drink, it’s memorable.
