I visited the Silk Factory for the third time yesterday and I can honestly say it never disappoints. The atmosphere is wonderful and so is the staff. This time I went for Latin night and I can say the music was great and everyone seemed so happy to be there. One thing that stands out is that the owner always seems to greet his guests making the vibes even nicer. I will be returning for cuter events.
We went to see Beatlemania at Silk Factory and had such a great day. It was our first time there and we were honestly so impressed. The band was fantastic and the whole place had such a fun, upbeat vibe from start to finish. Mary was our bartender and we just loved her. She was friendly, attentive, and made amazing drinks. Our whole table kept saying how great she was. Great food, great music, great atmosphere. We just got home and we’re already planning our next trip back for a 70s show she told us about and thinks we will enjoy. Can’t wait Highly recommend!
My husband and I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Silk Factory. From the moment we were seated, our server, Kristen, made us feel as though we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. Our appetizer arrived and, within approximately eight minutes — before we had any reasonable opportunity to finish it — our entrées were placed on the table. There was no pacing to the meal and no effort to ensure we were ready for the next course. Throughout dinner, she never once asked if we would like another round of drinks. Later, while we were still actively eating, she approached to ask about dessert. When we declined — because we were still finishing our meals — she immediately brought the check. At that point, my husband still had three-quarters of a beer remaining. We were not in a hurry. However, the service made it very clear that we were expected to leave as quickly as possible. Dining out should feel relaxed and welcoming, not rushed and transactional. A representative attempted to remedy the situation by offering dessert when we brought the issue forward, but by then the tone of the experience had already been set. Unfortunately, based on this visit, we cannot recommend this establishment.
First time visiting today for a brunch and it was such a great experience. Loved the industrial setting, the decor and all the art. Coffee was good, the lobster omelette was absolutely delicious as well as the potatoes. Best part was the singer , covering some really good old school songs and playing guitar. He was amazing. The servers were attentive and so great, they made our experience all the better. Such good Sunday vibes and we will definitely be returning .
I loved silk factory I think it was excellent. From the moment you walk in the ambiance is amazing so boho chic and reminds me so much of downtown Manhattan. Our server Chris was fantastic and didn't hesitate to go above and beyond when we asked for something. The food was excellent, I got the salmon and it was packed full of flavor. I know a lot of the reviews said the food took awhile, but we got there early and had no issues with it. This is definitely a must go, especially with the Hudson river down the street from the restaurant. The games around the restaurant are a good touch me and my husband loved that!
