Horsethief Coffee
1266 N Hwy 191, Moab, UT
Crema's Take
“Horsethief Coffee occupies a beautifully restored historical home in Moab, creating an unexpectedly dreamy refuge that feels more like a friend's living room than a typical coffee shop—complete with a sleepy resident cat and local art scattered throughout. Their espresso program is clearly the heart of the operation, with hand-tamped shots that reviewers rave about, whether you're ordering a meticulous black and white mocha or just a straight shot, and they pair it all with solid breakfast burritos and pastries that round out the experience. It's the kind of place that works equally well for a quick caffeine grab or settling in for hours with your laptop, with both covered porch and cozy indoor seating that makes lingering feel natural.”
What to expect
Espresso-focused. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, quick-grab. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu.

Great breakfast burrito with salsa. Was happy to see green grass and colorful flowers outside. Indoor and outdoor (covered front porch) seating. Sleepy cat inside. Some art and such for sale.
What a beautiful and dreamy cafe to stop by and take a work break at on a road trip. I worked here for a few hours in early October. The weather was perfect and there were many dragonflies flying around. The yard is lush and the red rock in the background is entrancing. There is…
