Pura Vida Coffee Bar

I had such an amazing experience at Pura Vida Coffee Bar! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was absolutely top-tier. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made the visit feel special. The matcha was incredible — perfectly smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The coffee was just as impressive: rich, fresh, and brewed to perfection. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of their drinks. And the food… wow. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. It paired perfectly with the drinks and made the whole experience even better. If you’re in Baton Rouge and looking for a coffee spot with amazing vibes, outstanding service, and seriously good drinks and food, Pura Vida Coffee Bar is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Great selection of food and drink items. There’s plenty of seating, the staff is nice, and the decor is awesome. There’s two floors, bar seating, and open seating. Definitely recommend. It is less than 5 minutes from LSU campus and is perfect for in between classes to study. Strawberry Nutella croissant is just heavenly.

Super cute cafe/ bar and excellent place to study! I'm jealous this place wasn't open when I was in undergrad! I got the strawberry matcha and really enjoyed it! I loved that they didn't make it overly sweet and let the flavors of the ingredients come out! The Mediterranean wrap I got was also delicious. Will definitely be coming back!

The place is beautifully designed. It is a coffee bar that offers refreshing alcoholic beverages. As well as lite bites for food options. The space is open and allows you to study in an open environment from its downstairs seating to upstairs. They have a small stage for event hosting. You can also host an event there as well due to the large capacity.

This has become my new favorite coffee place! I will say the only "downside" with this place is that they are a cashless restaurant, but that doesn't stop me from going back! I've been about 4 times and each time has been great! I've only ever gotten a lavender mocha, the breakfast wrap, the chocolate muffin, and the strawberry croissant because I'm a creature of habit, but they are all delicious! I love the space and the staff are so nice and helpful!
