Bluestone Lane Jersey City Coffee Shop
30 Hudson St, Jersey City, NJ
Crema's Take
“This Jersey City outpost shines brightest for its coffee and pastries when you catch them fresh, plus genuinely warm and attentive staff who seem to actually care about getting your order right. The vibe is perfect for a quick coffee run or lingering meeting over a well-made specialty drink, though you'll want to ask about pastry freshness and stick to what they do best—the coffee itself—rather than expecting much from their prepared food offerings. It's the kind of place where the people behind the counter can make your day better, even if the kitchen sometimes falls short.”

This location is constantly selling pastries that are not fresh and taste like they were left over from the day or 2 before. Multi times I've got the pain au raisin which was completely dried out inside, I've already gave them feedback in the app previously but nothing changed, even though they acknowledged it. Otherwise, the location, service and coffee is great.
This Bluestone Lane location is awesome! Whenever I stop by to get coffee, the servers are so polite and welcoming. One time, I accidentally ordered pickup from another location and they honored it and made it for me free of charge. Their chocolate croissants are my to go pastry along with flat white coffee.
Their coffee, pastries and smoothies are all amazing! I often come here for these. The other food items (ie wraps, sandwiches) are probably made elsewhere and heated up to order ie not freshly made, but they are priced fairly for what they are. Overall, this is a great spot for a coffee and snack.
My experience here was kinda mixed. First, I clearly asked for a large latte, which is 20oz, and I got 12oz instead. It's understandable that sometimes mistakes happen, but they also messed up our cold coffee. Anyway, the thing that matters is that the coffee itself was really good. I also liked the ambiance.
This was honestly one of the worst sandwiches I’ve ever received. It was sloppily thrown together with barely any filling — just a couple of sad slices of ham, some pickles, and a messy blob of sauce. It looked nothing like what you’d expect from a decent restaurant. The presentation was disgusting, and the sauce was all over my hands by the time I opened the box. Absolutely not worth the money. This place clearly has no standards.
