Stella Coffee Beverly Hills
6310 San Vicente Blvd, Los Angeles, CA
Crema's Take
“Stella is a charming, dog-friendly Beverly Hills café that nails the cozy workspace vibe with plenty of outlets and outdoor seating, making it ideal for laptop sessions with your pup in tow. While their specialty drinks like matcha with oat milk hit the mark when executed well, the experience here is genuinely about the relaxed, social atmosphere—think French Bulldog decor, leisurely pastries, and that rare LA coffee spot that actually invites you to settle in rather than rush out.”

Stella Coffee is a very cute, relaxing, doggy friendly coffee shop with tons of seating and outlets making it a perfect place to work from! My pup always loves coming in with me because he might even get a few free treats! ;) their coffee is superb as well and so is their breakfast burrito and lox bagel! So glad it’s walking distance to where I live!
Food looks nothing like the photos. Lox bagel was fine but ube pancakes were $14 for a 5 tiny pancakes (that barely had any ube in them), matcha just tasted like sweetened milk.
It is a hidden gem for sure, great coffee and sandwiches that can be enjoyed inside or out. We love the Frenchie theme because we had Frenchies in our family, there are some special treats and merchandise if you are into that. The prices are very reasonable. It wasn't very busy when we visited so it was very relaxing. The only pistachio latte that I have ever had where I can actually taste the pistachio. The steak sandwich had a lot of beef in it, always made to medium rare, not exactly the best cut but it was flavorful especially with that tasty spiced pesto spread. Strongly recommended.
Unfortunately, the service at Stella Los Angeles has significantly declined over time. The young woman who served me was not friendly at all. There was no greeting, no smile, and no effort to be helpful, which made the experience unpleasant. The coffee and products themselves are good, and that is the only reason this place gets 2 stars instead of 1. However, the environment needs serious attention. The furniture looks old, worn, and dirty, and the interior floor was visibly unclean. Overall, the café feels neglected compared to how it used to be. Good products alone are not enough. Service and cleanliness matter just as much.
This is such a great spot. I tried their matcha with oat milk and it was delicious, strong, smooth, and perfectly creamy. They also have cookies, pastries breakfast sandwiches and ready-to-go food options, which is super convenient if you’re short on time but still want something good. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, making it a great place to study, work, or just enjoy your drink. There’s plenty of seating inside, and the overall vibe is relaxed without being too quiet. It’s also pet-friendly (duh!), which makes it even better if you like to bring your furry friend along. Definitely a cozy spot to try if you are in the area!
