Crema's Take

This espresso-focused Philadelphia gem delivers consistently excellent coffee in an intimate setting that feels like a refined hotel café, with a devoted following who swear it's the best in the city. The small, thoughtfully curated space with just eight tables strikes that perfect balance between cozy enough for lingering work sessions and vibrant enough for meaningful conversations, backed up by genuinely impressive service and food that justifies the competitive pricing. It's the kind of place where regulars return daily for more than just the coffee—though that's reason enough.

A really good cafe but am I allowed to ding them for a regular customer? Often I stop in here before class at Cerulean but lately I’ve opted out of going due to a male customer who proceeds to engage with me while talking to the friendly barista. I love the food / coffee / staff and atmosphere and it’s a shame because it’s so convenient. I will of course try again although I could do without the intrusive customer. I know small businesses rely on a customer base, just a shame one particular individual has also made it a regular stop.

Random lil spot kinda feels like you're in a hotel café but it's not bad. Pretty small, i got lucky as someone gave me their spot but there are only 8 ish tables? it was nice though. was here to do work and they had wifi and it was quiet. wish i knew the name of the barista cause she was so kind. Accidentally spilled my drink everywhere like a lil kid but she was really sweet about it, cleaned it up quickly and gave me a new drink. she was funny too. got just a cappuccino and a beignet and they were both good nothin crazy. relatively affordable.
