Crema's Take

Sunshine Store & Cafe is a warmly unpretentious neighborhood spot in Hot Springs where generous portions and down-home cooking meet genuinely attentive service, making it equally suited for lingering solo with a traditional coffee or gathering a large group for their excellent catfish and meatloaf. The vibe here is authentically welcoming—locals and visitors alike praise the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere, with reviewers consistently noting that you're treated like family rather than just another customer. It's the kind of place where reasonable prices and hearty breakfast options encourage you to slow down and actually enjoy your meal and company.

Visited from out of town and couldn’t have been happier with our experience! Food was excellent, service was beyond superb, and environment was extremely welcoming! The people who dine here seem to enjoy each other’s company and aesthetic ties it all together to make it a great breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and coffee date! Give it a shot!

Our convertible club drove down here, from the Village, for lunch today. It was great! We had a large group and we got waited on quickly! Food was very good. Our table had salads, but they were huge. We saw a couple pizzas and they looked great! Each table got complimentary hand cut French Fries! Definitely recommend this place! Thank you!

Meatloaf, fried chicken and sides were excellent in the past. Today for lunch worse fries in my life. Fish small but ok. $15.00 for 3 piece and fries, no slaw, no hushpuppies.

A hidden gem. My wife and I tried this place since we recently moved to the Royal area. The food was prepared quick and the portion sizes were excellent. The prices are down home and not expensive at all. I highly recommend their breakfast if your near by.
