Urbana Cafe
530 Walnut St, Cincinnati, OH
Crema's Take
“Urbana Cafe is a spacious, beautifully decorated Cincinnati spot where locally roasted espresso is treated with real precision—each drink gets freshly ground and measured beans that shine in perfectly pulled cortados and thoughtfully crafted flat whites. The pastry selection goes beyond the expected, with savory options and standouts like apricot cream cheese Danishes that pair beautifully with their coffee, all served by baristas who are genuinely chatty and attentive. It's the kind of accessible, unhurried cafe that feels equally welcoming whether you're dropping by for a quick visit or settling in with your laptop for the afternoon.”

Popped in today while visiting the area and found this place to be a hidden delight. Teas were good, ham and cheese croissant was good but best of all the staff were great, friendly and super helpful! What a lovely place. Was a tad on the chilly side but on par with an unexpected cold snap. Lots of different kinds of seats with plenty of space. I favored the leather sofa.
Excellent offerings! Espresso beans are locally roasted, ground and measured for each drink. My cortado was perfect, my croissant absolutely amazing and Orian, my server, was really chatty and polite. Oh ans the prices aren't insane, they're actually reasonable. It's what a coffee house should be.
It was our first visit, we prepared to visit the cafe at a quiet time and the experience was very wonderful, the place is spacious, the decor is wonderful and the barista is an artist who prepared coffee for us, a cup of latte and a cup of hot cappuccino as we wanted. I recommend visiting it and I will definitely repeat the visit☕
Came in on a Thursday at midday and the coffee shop is easily accesible. No going up elevators nor going into a maze to find it. As soon as you find the building, you just walk into the coffee shop. The smell of coffee beans fills your nostrils and gives you that “I’m ready to ROCK” feeling. The shop could use a little more of vacuuming and cleaning crumbs from the earlier clients. I was expecting my coffee to be on a mug but it came in a disposable cup which tarnished my experience a little. The ambience is filled with colors, fast paced city life, and driven people. Perfect for a coffee shop that is named after an urban setting. The baristas were friendly and fast with my order!
Very nice coffee shop with cool decor and a comfortable lounge. Great pastries too, including some savory ones. I had a really tasty Apricot Cream Cheese Danish and a yummy Orange Spice Flat White to go. Update: also love their cinnamon rolls. It's worth a quick stop if ever you're near Fountain Square before 5pm Mon-Sat.
