Crema's Take

Tucked away in a quiet corner of Elm Grove, this peaceful neighborhood spot pairs expertly pulled espresso with genuinely excellent pastries, creating the kind of cozy atmosphere where you can linger for hours without feeling rushed. The baristas here treat every order—whether it's a traditional cappuccino or a creative oat milk almond latte—with real care and warmth, making it feel less like a transaction and more like catching up with a friend who happens to know their way around an espresso machine.

Hidden Jem! This Cafe is has a peaceful atmosphere and is spacious with plenty of places to sit. The barista was friendly and kind. I tried an oat milk almond latte, which was really good & a recovery tea both drinks were delicious and well priced. 10/10 would come back.

I love local coffee shops. They usually have lots more character than chains. I was hoping for an excellent experience based on the prior reviews, but was disappointed. It took a bit to find the location which is part of building with other shops and restaurants. No distinct signage on the outside, but there were a couple of people on a table outside, so that was a helpful clue. The interior is a mix of different tables and chairs. Nice, but lacked a cozy feel. Got here late morning. Only a few other customers. The server was cheerful and friendly. Did a nice job to explain the shop and the offerings. Made me a London Fog Latte to my liking. (thanks Grey :) I ordered an Almond Croissant which looked great! Had it warmed up a little. It was nice a flaky, nicely topped with some almonds. Inside was another story. Inside was cold cube of commercial almond paste. It was awful. I was going to let the server know, but she was the only staff person there, and busy with customers. I tossed it out. Wish it were a better experience. Don't think that I'll be coming back.

What a sweet surprise!! It actually looked like it wasn’t open, Sunday morning - very quiet, a little hard to see if you aren’t familiar with the area. But totally worth finding! In the back of the courtyard, cute and spacious - lots of seating! Really clean! The girl that helped us (Grey) bent over backwards to make suggestions and even offered to modify once we told her what we liked. We sat in the back room by the window and it couldn’t have been more perfect:) very quiet, sun-filled room. We tried the peppermint mocha iced latte (exactly as described, and they had oat milk - another plus!) It was delicious! Worth going back for! We also had the Vietnamese latte, raspberry cheese croissant, almond croissant and quiche Lorraine. All were delicious! The raspberry and almond croissants were flaky and fresh. The quiche Lorraine was served in a way I had never seen before - in a little rectangle pan and heated up once we ordered. Very moist and generous both with the ham and flavor. We’ll definitely be back! For all that we ordered (warmed up and eaten there), we spent right at or under $30.
