Crema's Take

The Camp is a wonderfully laid-back gathering spot housed in a collection of food trailers where you can linger over creative specialty drinks, catch live music, and soak in genuinely good vibes with dogs, friends, and fellow community members alike. Whether you're there for their themed seasonal creations or just to settle into the relaxed atmosphere with open space to spread out, this place has earned its reputation as Madison's go-to spot for unhurried afternoons and nights that feel less like a coffee run and more like an experience. Dog lovers especially appreciate how welcoming the space is, making it easy to understand why regulars keep coming back.

We went to the camp a couple months ago for some free love music and some good vibes and the camp did not disappoint. It was around Halloween so they had some fun themed drinks. The bartenders were very cool and added to the vibe. They have a pretty good happy hour too! I was afraid the vibe was going to be a tad overwhelming but it wasn't. There was plenty of seating in different spots. The music sounded great. We ordered food and it was way better than I was expecting! Very good! Definitely worth a try when you are there! Can't wait to find another chance to come and hang at the camp!

I was not there during a hopping time. I was told that they have many activities and live music etc but that wasn't going on when I visited. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. Since it was a holiday when i visited, one of the only places staffed was the coffee shop. The coffee I had and the rooftop seating area was terrific. I wish there were more places like The Camp all over. Going to have to find them. AND I'm going to have to visit this place during one of the festive times to get the full experience. Kudos to whoever came up with this concept.

I have been going to The Camp for a while now. I first met Emily Joseph & her band at The Camp and immediately loved the atmosphere. Such a great spot! My dogs love it there too! Very pet friendly, I recently had my daughter’s 21st birthday there on the night of Oct 4th, and it was the best night ever! Jordyn, Evan and the bar staff were so attentive to my daughter! They went out of their way to make my daughter’s night unforgettable! From beginning to end, we had exceptional service. The nachos are my favorite and my daughter loves the chicken tenders & fries. The laid back, come as you are atmosphere, coupled with great music, fun & even space to watch the game will have you feeling like there is no where else you need to be! The. Camp is probably the best spot in HSV! It’s a total vibe!

This is so fun. I went for Tamarind and found a cool little kick it spot. Lots of ipen space and options for food and drinks. Odd place to find at first, it is literally a camp of food trailers, an old firetruck and a bar. Cool lighting and lots of seating with different surroundings, cover and not. It was fun and the food was great.
