If you’re looking for a spot that actually feels like a hangout rather than just another counter to stand at, Lunar Star is such a find. The whole place has this cool, "space-lounge" energy with the neon lights and blue walls, but it’s still cozy enough that you’ll actually want to stick around and finish your drink. They had a karaoke type of sound system playing Eurovision type of bangers that I’ve never heard of. Their drinks legitimately impressive; I tried one called blue sunrise that was half sweet and light ice. It was a coconut milk, mango, and blue spirulina blend that’s creamy and sweet without being overkill. The staff is super chill, making the whole experience feel nice on my lunch break.
Lunar Star is a great spot for tea and coffee. I highly recommend the Vietnamese coffee, it has a rich and bold flavor that really stands out. The manager is very friendly, and everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. Definitely worth a visit!
When it comes to making my matcha coffee, I have very high standards. Lunar Star exceeded my expectations on my first visit. The matcha latte with an espresso shot and green oolong tea boba was incredibly delicious and perfectly sweet, just as I had desired.
I was in the neighborhood and my family wanted something to drink. I remembered my cousin had sent me the link for this little cute place and decided to stop by here. 😊 I love the vibe of here. I think the owner was talking to us. He was friendly and very helpful. I got a fruit tea: peach tea with green tea. We also got banana strawberry blueberry smoothie, 2 pinapple mango smoothie, and a oreo brown sugar milk latte. One of the pineapple mango was plain but thats ok. Someone still consumed the drink. I would come back here again. 🥺💓
The drinks and vibes are so nice! All of the drinks are so good and there's something for whatever mood you are in! I love the Blue Sunrise (and Sky Series) when I want something a bit heavier and the milk teas when I want to try to lock in. Coming in to study with chill vibes is always so nice and the staff are super friendly!
