Q-Tea Premium Tea House
124 S Military Ave, Green Bay, WI
Crema's Take
“This Green Bay tea house excels at creating a versatile escape, whether you're looking for a quick bubble tea grab or a contemplative afternoon with their thoughtfully crafted specialty drinks. Their matcha and signature creative beverages draw devoted fans, though consistency with inventory and atmosphere can be a bit unpredictable—some visitors praise the quiet, professional study vibe while others have encountered noisier days. If you catch them on a good day, you'll find genuinely warm staff and a menu rich enough to justify lingering, just call ahead to confirm they have what you're craving.”

This glorious establishment is completely magical! I needed a brain break and decided to have an immersive tea experience! Wow! I loved all of it and got the break I needed. Many boba thanks.
QTea used to be a favorite of mine, but after today’s visit, I will not be back. The experience is totally different and I’m not sure if that’s due to new ownership, changes to business model, or both. The customer service is the only thing that stood out about today’s visit. The young woman working was quick to greet me and take my order. She was also genuinely apologetic when explaining recent changes to their menu and rewards program. I was disappointed by a few things: - They no longer offer hot tea served in tea pots. This was the main draw & excitement of their “tea house” experience. This used to be available when they originally opened on Oneida St. I’m not sure if that changed when they first moved to Military Ave or if it happened recently after moving locations. Either way, their website still lists this as an offering. - Hot tea brewed from their loose-leaf blends comes in one size in cheap styrofoam/plastic cups that LEAK. At first I thought it was me making the mess but nope…they leak after every sip and the turmeric ginger tea stains 😭 - They no longer serve small snacks. They used to offer delicious tea cookies and I was sad to see that’s no longer the case. Usually a “tea house” will offer some kind of light snack to accompany the tea. - It is not a cozy spot to sit and enjoy your tea and boba. The patio seems inviting for warmer nights but inside during the winter time was kind of miserable. I kept my jacket on the entire time because it was so chilly in there even while sipping on hot tea. My nose was noticeably cold if that tells you anything. - Seating does not encourage a “tea house” experience. There is about 11 hard chairs total (including bench) for inside seating. They have one comfy, leather couch that could fit maybe 4 people that’s right in front of the door and sliding garage doors. So you get a nice blast of cold air every time someone comes and goes. People should be encouraged to sit for a bit and take their time enjoying their drinks and socialize. - They no longer offer froyo. Wasn’t a concern of mine as I stopped by for tea but it is still advertised on their website. - Their response to some low-rated customer reviews is EMBARRASSING. A respectable business takes the time to professionally address low reviews. If you read through some old low rated reviews, some of the replies from the owner are straight up rude and disrespectful. You should care about your reputation and handle customer complaints with tact, even when they may be unkind in delivering their experience. - No more rewards program. Notification was not given to folks who were earning points from previous visits either. This is sad as I think it’s a small way to show appreciation for returning customers. Also, not notifying previous rewards members of this change seems in bad taste. Customers are more responsive to business changes when they get a heads up. Based off this and their unprofessional remarks made to past customers online, I will not be back. I debated leaving 2 stars because they really do have quality tea and some of their boba drinks are good but their behavior online is unacceptable. It’s sad because I was really rooting for this business in previous years. They were the first of their kind in the area when they first opened and moving to a new, upgraded building was exciting to see. With this recent experience, it just left me disappointed to see things changed for the worse.
There were these children running around being loud and disruptive. They also kept running into the kitchen, which is a food safety issue. I like the drinks here and the staff is super nice, but please leave the kids home or find a different area for them to play in that isn't a food prep area. Also it took 15 minutes just to have tapioca pearls... which I thought was really odd for a boba place.
Went there for a late night study session and was amazed by the professionalism of the young, staff members. A wide menu selection of teas and quick service. A lovely quiet and clean environment! Would definitely recommend! ☕️
I've on tried the Matcha bubble tea. Super delicious but the next time I went they were out of Matcha. Actually there were quite a few flavors crossed off their menu because they were out. I just left without anything because all I was interested in was a Matcha drink. Revised: They sent me a message that Matcha was back in stock. I went back for a delicious Matcha Boba Tea. BUT!!! Few days later went back for another one. There was a note to go to salon first. I checked in and told them I wanted to place an order. I was told someone would be right with me. I stood there for close to 10 minutes -- I wanted my drink. Then lady comes out of the back and told me "he" was still busy. I left. Quite disappointed ☹️
