Espress Yourself Coffee
2 Richmond Ave, Worcester, MA
Crema's Take
“Tucked away in Worcester, this Eastern European gem transports you straight to the coffee bars of Italy and Albania, where slowing down is the whole point. The baristas take genuine care with each cup, crafting espresso-focused drinks with real skill and attention, making it the kind of place where a single coffee becomes a memorable experience rather than a quick caffeine fix. It's a nostalgic neighborhood refuge perfect for lingering over a pastry and feeling like you've stumbled onto a well-kept local secret.”

This is a quaint neighborhood eastern European cafe. Very lovely, to sit and sip. Not a place to go to if you’re in a hurry. Service was great and the barista knew their craft and took their time. I’m glad they had some food options. Pastries seemed, good, fine. Maybe pre-ordered. They do offer breakfast sandwiches made on site so maybe those might be tasty. Will visit again to try it out.
We didn't eat, just had coffee. My son spent many summers, while growing up, in Italy, with his Nonna. I've only been there a couple times. From driving by, this place reminded me of the bars (coffee shops) we went to. It did not disappoint, it had my son wishing he could go back now. The espresso and mocha cappuccino were good. Great atmosphere, great service,
Don't go to Worcester much but I just happened to stumbled onto Espress Yourself when I "needed" a coffee. A pretty woman with a little accent made me the best cup of coffee I've ever had, bar none. Orders of Magnitudes better than other places. I realized after I left that they weren't supposed to be open (at 2:15 on a Sunday) but the pretty lady helped me out anyway. Starbucks, YOU'RE FIRED. This is my goto place for coffee from now on!
Found this little albanian paradise during one of my city walks. It was an oasis for my thirst of European café, with people just hanging and enjoying life. You can feel the nostalgia of the customers looking for a slow life in the core of mass. Coffee was a strong Italian type. I tried a spinach pie (for lack of better word) that was good and filling. Laurent (the owner) was very friendly and willing to serve and chat with his diverse clientele. A very good moment there. I'll go back for sure.
Great spot for a traditional European style espresso. Mellow and delicious. Lots of pastry options to pair with your drink as well.
