Crema's Take

Tucked away in Pittsburgh, this cozy neighborhood spot excels at creating those unhurried moments where you actually want to linger over coffee and conversation—their signature creative drinks and thoughtfully prepared brunch fare give you plenty of reason to stay. The genuine warmth from the staff combined with the intimate, uniquely welcoming atmosphere makes it feel less like a coffee shop and more like that perfect spot where regulars become friends and first-timers instantly feel at home.

Went here for brunch with a friend and we both loved it. The place has a really cozy, unique vibe and the servers were super friendly and welcoming. It just felt like one of those spots where you can relax and enjoy your time. The food was great too. Lots of hearty brunch options and everything tasted really fresh and good quality. Definitely the kind of meal that keeps you full for a while. Overall a really nice brunch experience, good food, friendly service, and a chill atmosphere.

The Nook is such a hidden gem. The value is incredible for the high-quality, delicious food you get. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. I especially loved that they offer gluten-free French toast, which is hard to find and SO appreciated. They also have plenty of healthy options, so there’s truly something for everyone. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and food that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend 🩷 Follow me on Instagram @holycityfitblonde for more great reviews on restaurants, hotels, boutiques, and much more 💕

From the moment we walked in, it was clear why this place is so popular. Great food, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a wonderful experience. The restaurant was crowded, which says a lot about how good the food and service are. Everything we ordered was fresh, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. We had hot chocolate to drink, along with the pistachio waffles and the waffle benedicts, and every item exceeded our expectations. If you’re visiting this spot, it’s definitely a must-try. I’d happily come back again.

This was probably my fourth time going to the restaurant and my waitress. Victoria was phenomenal. I still remember my first time and I forget the waitress’s name but she also was phenomenal. Very complementary just like Victoria so it makes the experience very much more personable. The food and the drinks were great. I definitely enjoy the atmosphere. It reminds me of going to a friend’s house for a meal. If you’d like a cozy intimate place I recommend here. You will be in close proximity to other patrons, however that doesn’t distract or deter from the experience, especially if you’re someone who again likes an intimate experience. I ordered the pistachio pancakes. They were amazing. If you have a nut allergen, obviously you can’t get them but if you don’t, it taste amazing. I also had an espresso martini that was super tasty and the hot chocolate is also great. I tried a new item which is the fried Elote balls which kind of reminds me of hush puppies but with a little spicy cake it has the whole corn kernel in it so I’m definitely a fan of those and I recommend trying them

Wow. This place is amazing! Probably not good for large groups, but everything was amazing! We started with fantastic mocha, then my wife got the eggstravaganza breakfast with poached eggs and waffles. The waffles were so light and airy! I got the southern style eggs Benedict. The pulled pork was so tender and well seasoned. I loved the way they do their home fries too, seems like they are fried in a light batter and lightly seasoned. If you are anywhere near this place check it out. I imagine they get very busy on the weekends.
