This bakery was right down the street from where we stayed and intrigued us enough to stop in and give it a try. They had both GF and non-gf options which were kept in separate displays and coolers and the staff was very knowledgeable when asked about their gf options. Overall the food was good. We were a little towards the closing end of their day so we didn’t have as much to choose from as they normally would but everything was overall very good and worth a try.

Stopped in for a sweet treat on the go and was not disappointed. Lemon blueberry cupcake and cinnamon bun were both delicious (I did share with my sweets obsessed boyfriend). All the bakery items looked amazing! Will definitely be back soon to try more!

I was wedding planning this June for an October Wedding in Sunset Beach. I am celiac, and require 0 cross contamination and was looking for an option that could cater for a 14 person wedding that could accomodate me. We stumbled across this bakery owned by a nice woman named Kim. She took me seriously and had THE most delicious gluten free options that we instantly booked her for catering a brunch and wedding cupcakes. I was so excited, and fell in love with her hummingbird cupcakes. 1 month before the wedding I received a call from Kim. She had sold the business to a new man, the sale would go through October 7, about a week and a half before my wedding. She assured me, however, that he would honor this order and be able to maintain the levels of cross contamination concern in the kitchen. We trusted this and decided not to get an alternative caterer, as we were assured of his continuing cooperation. Kim promised this man would honor this agreement. October 8th roles around. 1 day after the sale went through, 1.5 weeks before my wedding. My mother, who booked the caterer, receives a call from this man. He will no longer honor this order, and backs out. 1 week before my wedding. Tell me, is that enough time to find another caterer? A gluten-free, celiac aware caterer no less? No. Had he simply informed us at the time the discussions were happening (1 month before) we MIGHT have had a chance. This man went back on his promise to honor this agreement, and forced my family into a position where we cannot find catering this far out from the wedding. My mother is now being forced to cook for all these people instead of helping with actual wedding preparations. I don't care what he says, this is bad faith business practices and incredible shady behavior. I understand you all with gluten free restrictions can't avoid a restaurant or bakery simply for bad business practices because let's be honest y'all have enough restrictions already. Just do not trust this man with a business deal, and if you are thinking of having him cater an event, I suggest looking elsewhere.

This had the most delicious options for gluten-free, vegan, dairy free and regular baked goods! I was overwhelmed by the choices and grateful for an amazing gluten-free cinnamon bun! Service was above and beyond for our large order and I noted patience with patrons trying to decide what they wanted. You can taste the love they bake with!

Main Street Bakery is a quaint and charming spot, perfect for a casual treat. The crumb cake is a highlight, with its incredibly soft texture and delicious flavor. The chocolate croissant is also a winner—light and not overly sweet, it’s quite delightful. However, the cannoli missed the mark for me; the shell was too soft and fell apart easily, although the filling was passable. While the bakery has its merits and a cute atmosphere, it didn’t quite become my favorite.
