I just had a marinated chicken quesadilla and it was INCREDIBLE. Starting to the handmade tortillas to tender + well seasoned chicken and toppings. I’ll definitely be coming here again. Highly recommend! Jessy is so sweet and attentive too.
Absolutely amazing vibes and warm welcomes from the cafe owner!. As other reviewers said, Jessy is extremely authentic and kindhearted, giving all the dishes a homemade feel! On top of that, everything is freshly made and tastes amazing. I highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches, as they are filling and healthy. Don't sleep on this restaurant, you're genuinely missing out if you haven't come by yet!!! The spot is right next to the PATH station, so even if you need a quick meal before your day starts or ends, come by!
Jessy Cafe is honestly one of the best little cafes I’ve ever been to. Me and my friends went there for breakfast after a long night and the food saved us. I had a sandwich she recommended and it was so fresh and good that I didn’t eat again until the evening. I was craving her food all day. I even showed up late and she still treated me like family. She is the sweetest person ever. If I lived in Jersey City I would be there every single day.
I can't believe I've missed out on this place for two years! While walking to another restaurant her street sign stopped me in my tracks, and I went in. Who doesn't love an authentic mom-and-pop Mexican spot?! Jessy was very warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. I told her I typically visit a Mexican spot by me and she shared with me that they were her cousins (small world). On my first visit, I ordered the chicken nachos and it was flavorful and filling. Today, I had a taste for the nachos so I ordered it through Grubhub (along with an açaí bowl), and everything was just as satisfying. She offers something for everyone. Half the menu is food and the other half focuses on wellness. You should definitely visit!
New spot I came across and decided to try. I ordered the Mexican Quesadillas and while waiting she gave some sample of her smoothies. She’s very nice. Very tasty smoothies. The quesadillas were amazing. The corn tortillas are homemade and soooooo good. The food was delicious. I would like to try more of her food. Call ahead and food is made fresh to order. I’m glad I stopped in.
