Crema's Take

Caterina's sits right on the San Clemente Pier with a charming, authentic vibe that transports you somewhere European—think cozy Cuban-inspired café meets California coastal escape. The real draw here is the atmosphere and location rather than the food, though their specialty drinks like the Coconut Caramel and Crème Brûlée lattes show promise when the team gets the balance right. It's a spot where the experience of sipping coffee with ocean views matters more than expecting flawless execution across the board.

What to expect

Specialty coffee, with creative signature drinks. A slow-sit spot, outdoor seating. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly.

This place reminds me of little cafes I have been to in Cuba. Very authentic very cute with a big difference though which is the selection of the foods and beverages. I wouldn’t mind their chocolates but the bakery section is amazing. So is the coffee.
