It says quite a bit about a place when the parking lot is completely full at 930 on a Thursday morning. We do have some pretty lucky timing though because we were able to walk in and sit right down, but shortly after EVERY SEAT was full. The staff was pleasant and quick, and we had some fresh coffee just as we were getting through the menu. I got their Sandpoint omelette which had some country style large chunks of hand and sausage with plenty of bacon, cheese, and onions as well. My buddy got their pork friend steak and was well pleased with it. Something that caught us both of guard but was a pleasant surprise was the slight lemon flavor added to their butter. It complimented the raspberry preserves that came with it and went really well on my English muffin and his sourdough. This place has a small town vibe right in the middle of the city and is definitely worth checking out... If they have room, because they were none stop busy the whole time we were there. Thanks again!
I found this spot in Idaho on accident. Thank the universe for happy accidents. Very welcoming, was seated immediately but people began to come in after 9am and it got busy. I understand why. I ordered a scramble that was so fresh hot and delicious. It was great. I am a southern gravy lady through and through. It a breakfast staple for me. They have what seems like the creamiest gravy I've ever had. It was good, I still prefer bacon grease based southern gravy, lol, but man! They're gravy so silky smooth! I was questioning what dairy based they used. It was good! Service was great. Coffe was good. I will definitely be returning!
The Mclovin is stupid good! Never had a duck sausage till today. Boy have I been missing out! All the staff are super nice. Ill be back to try more of the menu for sure. Thank you everyone at Garmet Cafe. :)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cozy, Welcoming, and Absolutely Delicious! The Garnet is truly one of those places that feels like a hidden gem. The atmosphere has that perfect cozy diner vibe, full of warmth and buzzing energy, making it an ideal spot to settle in and enjoy a great meal. We ordered the Bonner Omelet with bacon on the side, and everything was perfectly cooked. The homemade jam and lemon curd are absolute standouts—bright, flavorful, and clearly made with love. I’ve also tried their spaghetti and eggs, and while it may sound unusual, it’s shockingly delicious and has quickly become a favorite. What really elevates the experience is the people. Paige, the owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming. She greets guests like old friends and has an amazing way of remembering people, which gives the place a real community feel. The service was excellent—not overbearing, just attentive enough. They let us sit and chat after finishing our meal without hovering or rushing us, but still made sure our coffees were topped off and we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, genuine hospitality, and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere, The Garnet is an easy recommendation. We’ll absolutely be back.
This place is fantastic!! We had the vegan selection of beans, veggie hash, and sausages. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients, the service was fast, and the staff were super friendly. And the interiors have a spunk that'll bring a smile your face! We were helped by Krista, who was very polite and helpful.
