St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub

Crema's Take
“St. Elmo's Coffee Pub in Arlington has carved out a cozy niche with creative signature drinks like their cinnamon-syrup lattes that taste like dessert in a cup, paired with solid breakfast options and a welcoming multi-floor setup perfect for lingering over conversation. While coffee quality seems to divide opinions, the real draw is the thoughtful atmosphere—friendly service, good music curation, and pastries that beg to be savored—making it feel more like a neighborhood gathering spot than a typical coffee run.”

Ordered a latte with their homemade cinnamon syrup and a breakfast burrito. The latte was like a cinnabon in a cup and the burrito smelled and tasted delicious. The customer service was very nice. I would stop in again if my son's sports bring us back to the area.
Had the matcha latte and an egg and cheese everything bagel with turkey: slightly salty but overall good. Ended up staying to eat on the 2nd floor, which was perfect. Great customer service every time I visit. Very vibey café with energetic energy and a great place to chat and relax.
I’ve been twice. The coffee isn’t good. Both espresso and drip are bitter and almost taste flavored, regardless it’s not smooth or tasty, just off putting. I didn’t finish the coffee. The pastries are decent, but over priced. The food is slightly over priced, and just ok. Selection is decent, but no real them to it. The location is interesting and there is potential, but the decor, food and coffee all need some help to be truly on point. I hope they figure it out, I’d love to see them succeed.
The coffee was good but the staff are a pack of snarling high school kids . The pastries looked good so I ordered one. When I got back to my car they hadn’t bothered to heat it up . I paid $14 for a large latte and what was essentially a thick, cold pop tart. I bet it would have been good if it was warmed but alas. There is a better coffee shop in Shirlington , just a few minutes away. I suggest you go there- it is called Best Buns.
This was a fun visit. The options were plentiful and tasty. The music selection had a nice variety which was coffee-shop-appropriate. The establishment was clean and very welcoming. The pastry option looked good evening though we didn't indulge. Instead, we had a "Kenwood" which was delicious. We also had "Turkey Reuben" which was amazing if you enjoy sauerkraut. We also had a cherry blossom latte AND cherry blossom Chai. Both are good options. The esthetics are simple enough not to be a distraction while working. There is work space on the second level. Only thing this location is missing is PLANTS! lol
