Truce

Truce is undoubtedly one of the best chill bars in Chicago. If you’re looking for unique drinks that wow you, Truce is the place you want to go to. One of the owners, Rami, made my wife and I feel right at home. The food and snacks are insanely great. the overall vibe is unbeatable. This place sets the bar for hospitality and quality. Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve actually been here twice—once for drinks in the evening and then more recently for the coffee and tea selection during the day. I’d say I was pretty impressed both times. The service was impeccable, and everyone was super welcoming. The space is cute—maybe a little dark—but that kind of gives it a cozy, homey vibe. As for the drinks, they offer really interesting flavor combinations for both their coffee and tea selections during the day and their cocktails at night. If you're someone who's a little more adventurous or wants to try something new, this is the place for you. Of course, they also have classics if you’d rather stick with something familiar and chill with a friend. The space is really comfortable and feels like an upscale neighborhood spot.

Very solid selection of cocktails, coffee, and small bites. Menu will vary depending on the time of day that you go. We went during cocktail time and found the drinks, atmosphere, and service to be great. Seating is fairly limited, so make sure to go earlier or be prepared for a wait.

What a cool concept of a coffee shop combined with a cocktail bar and no detail has been overlooked. The space is so cozy with more of a bar vibe in the front with a coffee shop vibe in the back where people are doing work. The service was so good and one of the best Carrillo's we've ever had. The Truce cocktail was also great and their take on an old fashioned. Just an FYI it's a very limited food menu. Great spot to check out if you are in the neighborhood and want a drink or a coffee.

One of my favorite cocktails bars! Every cocktail is unique and and special. The menu changes with the seasons too, keeping you pulled in and coming back! Their coffee is also great, unique and well crafted! Everything about truce is amazing, I love it here!
