Crema's Take
“The peanut butter mocha here is so good it converts skeptics, and the baristas—Justin and Mason especially—actually care about making your visit memorable rather than just transactional. This family-owned spot has a genuinely warm vibe with solid seating inside and out, perfect for lingering, though consistency seems to depend heavily on who's behind the espresso machine that day.”
What to expect
Specialty coffee, with creative signature drinks. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Light food on the menu.

See all on Google →Barista was nice but cappuccino was either over extracted or from a singularly bad roast and intensely bitter.
Great experience. I had the peanut butter mocha and it was surprisingly great! Friendly service! Justin is the best!
We always have a great time when we stop at Brewed Awakening. Forrest made us the best drinks and was patient while we asked about the sandwiches. Service was friendly and speedy. This is the best spot for coffee in Scotts Valley.
Honestly the best cafe in Scotts Valley region. Family owned and full of personality. Justin and Mason excel in service, very personable and happy to provide. Would reccomend this cafe 100% over the suffocating amount of chain cafes that are like invasive species to our local…
The pastries were nice. They warmed them up. Amd toasted the bagel. The coffee took them forever to prepare, and it was very weak. Nice outdoor and indoor seating. Just take your time.
