Roots Natural Kitchen

I recently stumbled across this place and was super excited to try it because of its variety of healthy options. The food tasted great. However, the atmosphere created by the team member who was at the window makes me not want to go back.

I love this location and I think the service 90% of the time is amazing. Shout out to the D.J. OSU student and the guy who told me my grey hair didn't need to change, and your team here. They are always so nice and do a great job. Don't let it slip. I come here about once every 2 weeks. Some notes for improvement: the new steak bowl banana peppers are weak. Put the crunchy onions on the top so they dont lose their crisp. I just think flavor and texture need consider. El Jeff is by far my favorite. Love the spicy kick and often add Sriracha. Also the music can be loud making it hard to order because they cant hear you. Love the tractor beverages but sometimes they seem powdery would love a fresh option. Finally the booth seats are too high. Its just unnerving to sit on them. Anyway love the business, love the food, happy to taste test new combos if needed🤣

Note: I have never gone to location. My review is for orders only. I absolutely love the food. I have had a less great bowl once - the rice was terribly hard. Other than the once, all of my meals have been great. They've never gotten an order incorrect and I have made several mods on the food. The only opportunity is the inconsistency - I order the same thing everytime, but you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at it. I do not mind this personally, but consistency with a dish is something restaurants typically strive for. They are very quick, food always tastes fresh. And the procong is fair in my opinion. I highly recommend. Photographed are two bowls for me and a fellow diner, both are delicious.

This place is soooooo good. Full of options and flavors. Fresh every time. The Chimmchuri mushrooms and Basil Vinegerette is a perfect match! I could Roots daily if that had an Eastside location!

Really enjoyed the food! Very filling and good options to choose from to make your own bowl. The atmosphere is good, not many people inside. The staff were kind and friendly. However, there were times when I encountered staff who were a bit rude. Other than that, everything from food to service is good!
