Mort's Bagels
1815 Carey Ave, Cheyenne, WY
Crema's Take
“Mort's Bagels brings genuine New York bagel credentials to Cheyenne, with hand-rolled varieties like their standout cheddar dill that locals and transplanted New Yorkers alike swear by. The no-frills, welcoming vibe draws lines of loyal customers who appreciate the fresh, quality ingredients and genuinely kind staff that make even a quick breakfast run feel personal. It's a family-friendly spot where you can grab a satisfying breakfast or lunch without pretense, just really good bagels done right.”

I love Morts! The cheddar dill bagel is my favorite! I’m so glad we found this wonderful breakfast/lunch spot. Great employees and wonderful food!
Bagels are decent, but the place has gone to the dogs--literally. There were dogs everywhere in the dining area, and you know there was dog dander fleas etc. I am a HUGE dog lover/owner/rescuer--- I don't believe dogs or any other furry creature has a place in food service areas. Besides the obvious allergens, it's just plain unhygienic. I won't be back.
Am updating my previous review. I had written, my previous review on being disappointed by food made half-satisfactory; before the Owners reached out to me. I cannot tell owners how best to manage their business. Nor did I delinate all of my annoyances. I am the type of person, that I may bring up an incidence that greatly bothers me; and then I walk away for awhile. For those wanting to support a private business that makes a good tasty bagel, Mort's is the place to go. (And Stephanie, the owner, was "brave" to reach back out.) As for this humble review, affecting others, take the following away in your take-away of Mort's Bagels: this Business aims to make the customer happy, Mort's wants you to be satisfied, their food will warm your desire for good food, & don't punish a small business and their staff for my upset.
Pretty good variety of bagles and toppings, wish I could make it here more often. No gluten free far as I can tell. Very tasty and fresh - have heard from New Yorkers that it's the best bagel shop this side of the Mississippi. Standard street parking, not much to walk to nearby.
I knew this place had merit, when I walked in to a long line. It was no frills, with a mural and a basket design on the wall. The service was speedy, and staff is nice. I went for a messy, protein filled bagel breakfast Sammy. Post workout was perfect! The special bagel was maple pecan, flavorful! But not overly sweet. Strawberry cream cheese, creamy and fruity. Bacon, egg, sausage, and pepper Jack. All real, not mystery meat😝. Stop by for a bite, it’s worth the wait.
