Rowhome Coffee

Crema's Take
“Rowhome Coffee has become a beloved Philadelphia destination largely thanks to their signature move: breakfast sandwiches built on soft pretzels instead of traditional bread, with crispy bacon and perfectly seasoned eggs that somehow make this unexpected pairing feel inevitable. Beyond the Instagram-worthy sandwiches, it's a genuinely welcoming space with plenty of outlets and natural light where you can settle in for hours with a well-executed espresso drink, making it equally suited for laptop work or lingering over conversation with friends. The combination of serious coffee craft, creative comfort food, and a genuine neighborhood vibe gives this spot the rare quality of being both a coffee destination and an actual gathering place.”

Have grabbed breakfast sandwiches from here multiple times. They’re made on tasty, doughy soft pretzels. I like soft pretzels but not really as bread for sandwiches…but these are exceptional! Maybe it’s comparable to a salted bagel? Either way, I highly recommend. Cool little joint, too, but a small space.
First time ordering delivery from here after hearing about how good their breakfast sandwiches on pretzels are. Not only was the sandwich excellent, bacon was crispy, eggs well seasoned and the pretzel had a great chew and was not shy on the everything seasoning. If that was all, you'd have a very solid cafe, but when I got my order I found that they had written a nice note explaining that they were out of the pastry I had ordered and had refunded it, nice on its own, but they went on to say that they had included a selection of what pastries they did have left. Well above and beyond what they needed to do and it did not go unappreciated. Do yourself a favor and stop by, they seem like lovely people and have very good quality food to boot.
Rowhome is an EXPERIENCE! If you’re in Philly, do yourself a massive favor and go get their cheesesteak soft pretzel sandwiches. I got mine with an egg and my friend got his with everything seasoning. They’re stunning, and they also offer more generic breakfast fair as well which is also just as delicious. And not for nothing but their coffee is incredible too. One of the best iced mocha’s you can have—just be sure to get a large!
I visited this shop twice while in town. One of those times I plugged in for a few hours. It's a decent space with plenty of outlets and natural light. For drinks, the plain latte was excellent quality and the mocha was solid and not overwhelmingly sweet -- I'd drink either again. They serve up some pretty good breakfast sandwiches on pretzel buns. I'd rate mine 6.5/10. There's also a little pastry case with croissants and some sweets. I'd be happy to come back here and plug in again.
One of my side hustles is decorating short-term rentals, and no matter where I’m working, I’m always on the hunt for the best breakfast or coffee spot in the neighborhood. When I heard about Rowhome Coffee and their pretzel breakfast sandwiches, I knew exactly where I’d be eating the next time I was in the area. As a Philly girl, I’m all about a good soft pretzel, so adding our breakfast favorites into the mix was a brilliant idea. Rowhome really knows what they’re doing. The name alone pulls you in, and the vibe of the place doesn’t disappoint. I also took the barista’s recommendation and tried a Lavender Matcha—it was delicious!
