Crema's Take

Plata Coffee is a genuinely welcoming spot where the baristas—especially Amanda—treat you like family and actually know their craft, making consistently excellent lattes and creative signature drinks like their celebrated Not Nog Latte. The cozy, mountain-facing atmosphere makes it perfect for lingering with friends or settling in to work, and the Sunday bagels are a beloved local touch that keeps people coming back.

I love Plata! It's such a cozy space. I've always been able to find a spot to sit/work. I've never had a bad latte here and LOVE that they have Sunday bagels.

My friend and I stopped in today our first time we loved the atmosphere, the staff was amazing made us feel welcomed! We sat at the couch we enjoyed looking at the snowy mountains in front of us. I got the Chei latte with this pastry with marshmallows and chocolate they both were amazingly tasty and definitely satisfying. Will definitely go again and will tell my friends and family!

Wow! What an amazing place. Cozy vibes, yummy drink, and the friendliest barista I have met in town! Amanda was so kind as soon as I walked in the door! Try the Not Nog Latte you won’t be sorry!

Really nice place. Coffee is great. No cold brew, which is what I'm after. But the iced coffee with a shot of espresso is really good. I don't add anything to my coffee so I get the real essence of what they are serving. This is in the top 10 for Albuquerque.

Any friendly and you would think your mom owned the place. The staff here are very open to giving you any knowledge about coffee. The cool thing about this job is they support other small community shops in Albuquerque! Ya! The bake goods are delicious and fresh. Always taste the coffee before adding anything to it, because it’s the right way taste the real notes. Then you can destroy the coffee lol. Come in for that smile from the staff wake up to the smell of the fresh brew
