Coffee Shoppee

l've been to Bandido Coffee Parlor multiple times, and it never disappoints. The coffee is consistently amazing, and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The baristas genuinely take the time to explain the coffee, answer questions and suggest substitutions to your preferences. As a Mexican customer I love that they speak Spanish and they feature Latin inspired drinks. It makes me feel seen, and connected to my heritage and it adds such a special, authentic touch to the experience of enjoying a wonderful cup of coffee. You can truly see and feel the pride, passion and culture behind this business. The first time I visited, I was greeted and helped by Molly and Ace and they both gave me such a great impression. Molly was incredibly welcoming, kind and funny. I chatted with her and to my surprise she speaks Spanish too! Ace, the manager, was amazing as well. He took the time to check on customers, see how they were enjoying their coffee and asked if anyone needed anything. He was very personable and genuinely engaged with customers which shows how much they care about them and their experience. I pray God continues to open doors and provides this business with many blessings. This coffee shop has great coffee, great people and a strong sense of community. I always look forward to coming back and trying something new. I’m so excited about their new location just down the street and can’t wait to experience the new space. I would highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone.

This coffee parlor is an adventure from the start. There's a little cute courtyard you have to enter to reach the door. Once inside your coffee awaits. Ask questions! While it was suggested that I don't do the decaf coffee due to the beans they were able to do a half caffinated latte (chocolate abuelita) that was great. The touch of cinnamon creates a unique taste.

Oscar was fantastic. The place looks fantastic with the different decor as well as the different cultures that can be seen within the style. The coffee was great with the yogurt and coffees!! Hidden gem of Birmingham and it is a must go to in the area!! Hidden in the alley of 20th street, Five Points. Treat yourself to their amazing coffee!!!

Wow!! Sometimes you get a cup of coffee and it takes you to a place where you think you can change the world. That’s the kind of cup of coffee I had here, but then I had another cup. The world was so much better. Coupled with a very yummy Ham and cheese croissant. Really nice cheese really nice croissant. Wonderful folks. Dig the stickers. And the outdoor space. Did I mention the world is gonna be a better place very soon?

I came to UAB for the first time, and I was seriously craving a good and strong coffee! I found this little jewel with a lot of potential. I got a cappuccino with a ham/cheese croissant, and everything was divine. They told me that they had opened 5 months ago. I am very picky with coffee, and this place met my expectations. Nice environment, friendly, CLEAN, and of course, delicious. If you want and need REAL coffee, this is your place. Nothing speaks better than latinx coffee; strong and perfect. I'm definitely coming back when in Birmingham. Tons of luck to the owners with the initiative! Please be kind as they are starting to build the business.
