Il Canto Cafe
475 Sacramento St, San Francisco, CA
Crema's Take
“This beloved neighborhood spot excels at the deceptively simple art of the breakfast burrito, turning out generously stuffed creations with quality carnitas, properly cooked eggs, and thoughtful flavor combinations that keep locals and visitors alike willing to wait in line. The intimate, family-friendly space strikes that rare balance between a quick grab-and-go counter and a place where you'll want to linger over an espresso, making it feel more like a cherished community hub than just another San Francisco cafe.”

Got the Best Friend Burrito and it was delicious. The carnitas was a different flavor than your normal BB. Very cute little shop - and the service was great.
Ordered DoorDash from Canto Cafe and got two burritos — one veggie and one meat — and both were excellent. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the meat burrito was generously loaded with sausage, bacon, and ham. If you’re looking for a high-protein option, that one definitely delivers. That said, I personally preferred the veggie burrito — the flavors really stood out. Absolutely worth it. 10/10.
Super popular local spot for breakfast burritos. The food is good and they have plenty of customization options, as well as other non-burrito options. There are usually people waiting for their order, so if you want to order, line up near the "register", so the guy knows you want to order and is not just waiting. Recommend their Bacon Avocado, yummy!
Ordered delivery while staying nearby, got the chipotle breakfast burrito with bacon, avocado and hash browns inside. Service was SO fast, and this was the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever ordered from a restaurant. So much flavor, but not salty or greasy at all. Just perfection!!
I had the breakfast burrito with chicken and red onions, and it was really tasty — and absolutely huge! The portion size is massive, definitely great value for the price. The flavor was good overall, though I would have wished for a bit more red onion since it’s listed as a main ingredient. Still, a very solid and satisfying burrito.
