Crema's Take

This bustling Lafayette spot is as much a food destination as it is a coffee haven, with standout burgers and creative dishes like their signature pineapple burger that keep locals coming back. The vegan-friendly menu and late-night hours make it a welcoming gathering place for everyone from concert-goers to holiday visitors, though fair warning—it lives up to its energetic, lively atmosphere with sound levels to match. The happy hour beer deals and consistently good coffee make it worth a visit, just maybe go in ready to embrace the buzz.

Possibly the loudest cafe I've ever walked into. Why do owners and staff think noise levels in the stratosphere are desirable? We were visiting in town and quickly left. There are too many other interesting food places than one that precludes any conversations with your dining partner. I owned my own business and understood that it is not inane to put my customers first, btw.

Caffe Cottage is great!! We were so impressed. They were open on Christmas and had vegan options, which was so major for us. But then on top of that, they were super nice and the food was delicious. The Beyond Burger was a lot thicker of a patty than you typically see, and it just tasted fantastic overall. The Cajun fries were phenomenal; I could eat those every day. Highly recommend them. Happy we got to try them out and may go back before the end of our trip here!

Good coffee and really good food. I think that covers it. It is probably the 3rd best burgers we have had in Lafayette, and I have eaten most places here.

The place is okay. I consider the prices little bit overpriced -talking about food. However happy hour is pretty good! Beer jars for an amazing price! I tried the pineapple burger, highly recommended!! They also offer loaded fries, but for me are to greasy with too much cheese, but maybe for you could be perfect!

Stopped there with my hubby after a concert and it was was one of the places opened that late at night. I got a breakfast croissant, my hubby got a deluxe BLT and then the eggrolls …and it was all delicious. We waited a long time but it was very busy and pretty much everyone from the concert was trickling in there at the same time BUT it’s openly stated that the food will take a while since it’s all made fresh and they definitely delivered! Atmosphere is artsy and cozy. I would love to be back whenever in Lafayette, MS. :)
