My husband & I love Woodys! Everyone is so friendly & helpful there & they have excellent merchandise.. things we’ve never found anywhere else.. we drive over 11/2 hours to go there because it so well worth the trip.. I highly recommend this unique shopping experience when visiting Woodstock Vt.. you’ll truly remember it♥️👍♥️

Best shopping experience imaginable! Woody’s has so many beautiful, unique gifts and was warm & inviting the moment I walked in. Cindy provided great customer service! I purchased two soft sweaters, fuzzy, pretty slippers and a stunning ring for Christmas gfits. I liked everything so much that I went online the next day and purchased holiday light decorations. Once again, service was amazing and the order was delivered in two days! I highly recommend Woody’s if you’re in Woodstock or shopping online.

This store is an absolute gem. I never miss it when I am anywhere near Woodstock. What I love most is the thoughtful, unique collection of clothes and home goods that I can't find anywhere else. This is made even more special by the wonderful staff that greet me whenever I visit. Suzi always helps me find exactly what I want, and then some! Different and interesting, my favorite Christmas gifts are always from Woody's!

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Woodys. The passive aggressiveness of the associates here is unlike anyone I have ever met in Woodstock. I love the town because everyone is so friendly and welcoming, but the people working here were immediately rude us. The workers were clearly whispering about us and following us around the store. They then proceeded to kick us out of the store for having sodas when there was no signage indicating that it was prohibited. We would have gladly disposed of the beverages if told to when we first entered. Overall the women working were extremely rude and there are far too many local stores in the areas with much kinder associates. Edit: Here is our perspective, which seems to differs greatly from yours. My friends and I never set our drinks down as we wanted to respect the cleanliness of the store. Instead, we had each other hold our drinks if we ever wanted to pick something up. As for the food, my friend saw the associate give her a dirty look when she walked in, so she went to throw the food away even thought the associate never actually said anything. We were not trying to antagonize you by looking at your products, we simply were just looking around like any customer would do. We also did not pretend to steal any jewelry, we simply just pointed out the sign saying there was a camera. It’s pretty interesting that our group contained the only people of color in your store and we are also the ones you accuse of pretending to steal. What I believe is more disrespectful than walking around a store with a few drinks is threateningly staring down your customers without saying anything, making them feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in an otherwise friendly town.

HATS OFF! I will say Woody’s has bern a staple in my weekly constitutional walk in down town Woodstock. Always a pleasing experience and a staff that goes out of their way to be helpful when either I am looking for that perfect gift for the “Chef” that has everything, or the doggy toy for my dog who so desperately needs one (toy #25) or even that small hostess gift from A-Z. Small businesses in Woodstock such as Woody’s try very hard to please, have unique displays and try to give their customers an enjoyable shopping experience It does tend to boggle my mind that visitor's would even consider bringing drinks and open food in any establishment that has merchandise for sale.
