Amazing food and drinks. Bourbon prices are very reasonable here. I highly recommend the radicchio salad and the roasted lamb, these two were stand out for us. The smoke trout dip was great too, just not as good as the others. Surprisingly for someone who doesn’t even like tuna, these two tune dish was amazing and the chili sauce really brought home the flavors.

we stayed in the hotel; so was very convenient. order medium steak, and it was a bit on a rare side, middles was really hard to chew, but it could be specific to golden hour; i just go off the standard. chicken and rice was very delicious though, juice and flavorful. beets starter was great. service was great and atmosphere is modern and cozy.

Golden Hour at The Radical – A 1000/10 Asheville Dining Experience If you're heading to Asheville, make sure Golden Hour at The Radical is at the top of your list. The atmosphere and environment are an easy 1000 out of 10 — from the stunning design to the warm, golden light that fills the space, it’s one of those rare spots that feels effortlessly cool and inviting. We went in to try their new menu, and honestly? It’s majestic. We started with the Ash-Roasted Beets — a perfect harmony of creamy stracciatella, crunchy nuts, and homemade focaccia. The textures, the flavor, the colors — it was beautifully done and bursting with depth. Next came the Greens and Purples, a colorful and bold dish where the bitter radicchio meets a tangy, rich yogurt. A gorgeous balance of fresh and earthy. For entrées: The Chop Shop Pork Steak was cooked to perfection and served with beans, peas, and apple — a comforting, savory dish with a subtle sweetness. The Rack of Lamb is a must. Grilled beautifully and paired with chive (ciboulette) and mint, it delivered a complex burst of flavors that lingered in the best way. We ended with the Vanilla Panna Cotta with peaches and basil — possibly grilled peaches (they tasted like it!). The addition of basil and olive oil made it a sweet-meets-savory dessert that stood out. Cocktails? Don’t miss the Autumn Ember. It had an impressive presentation and a bold, layered profile that paired perfectly with the meal. Special shoutout to our server Nehemiah, the service was top-notch, and their knowledge of each dish really elevated the experience.

Great food and good atmosphere. I give the food 4/5 stars because the food was spectacular but the portions were a little small. Pictured is the lamb sausage, espresso martini, picnic in pink, and traditional old fashioned

We had an absolutely outstanding dinner here! First of all, the space is gorgeous. Our server, Jay, was just the right combination of attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food was INCREDIBLE. We started with crab beignets, none of us had ever had anything like them and we hope they stay on the menu forever. I had the swordfish special and practically scraped my plate clean. My husband had the chicken - same. We sat with friends for quite a while, enjoying the view, as well as the drink menu and dessert. My father is coming to town next month and I’ve already made a reservation. The only negative of the night was the parking situation. It’s supposedly validated if you dine in. We were told one thing at the front desk when we entered, and that same person basically pretended she had no idea what we were talking about when the evening was over. We each ended up paying $15 for parking. Some clarity next time would be appreciated. But that has nothing to do with the amazing quality of the restaurant itself, absolutely recommend 10/10.
