Ridman's Coffee
4758 N Clark St, Chicago, IL
Crema's Take
“This charming uptown corner spot has mastered the art of the slow cafe experience, with plenty of natural light, cozy seating (including a beloved couch), and houseplants that make lingering over espresso feel like the right choice. They take their coffee seriously—especially dark, espresso-focused drinks—and pair them thoughtfully with locally-baked pastries including gluten-free options, while local artists' work and puzzles scattered about remind you this is a place designed for getting lost in time, not rushing through it. Whether you're remote working for hours or watching traffic drift by, the genuine warmth of the service and quality of every beverage keeps regulars coming back as their favorite workspace in the neighborhood.”

I come here frequently. It’s my favorite cafe in uptown area to work remotely. The coffee is high quality and I appreciate the gluten free pastry options.
Adorable little spot for espresso! The atmosphere is very charming and chill, I sat on the couch for almost an hour just watching the traffic out the windows. There's lots of house plants and cute art on the walls, and the absolute *bangers* they play on the speakers make this place very cozy! My barista was conversational and welcoming. They took the time to chat with me, but still made my cortado in under 5 minutes. A little added bonus to the service: some of the espresso drinks are discounted by $1 if you order them for here. Just another reason to hang around! If you're looking for a spot in Uptown to do work, relax, or meet someone, don't skip Ridman's!
Perfect little coffee shop with delicious beverages and snacks and lots of space and light to hang out. I love the Big Sis Special and the defloured gluten-free pastries! They have some great local artwork for sale too.
Cozy corner coffee shop serving dark matter and locally baked pastries. There's a few specialty drinks, a spot with some merchandise by local artists and even a few shelves with puzzles if that's something you'd want to do while relaxing with your coffee. Solid place overall, bonus for being so cozy. If you're looking for a place to relax with your morning coffee, this is it.
Excellent coffee, great environment, and friendly service sum up this place. Every time I come here it's a great experience. There is plenty of seating, great lighting due to the large windows and corner location, and the employees are very friendly and helpful.
