Crema's Take
“Nestled in Chicago's Loop, this sleek, modern espresso bar moves fast and furious with creative drinks that justify the wait—think black sesame lattes and pink guava mochas alongside expertly pulled shots. The real standout is their matcha program, which has earned loyal fans who swear it's among the city's best, and baristas who clearly know their craft and genuinely care about getting your order right. It's grab-and-go only with no seating, but the engaged owner and friendly team create a welcoming energy that makes this high-volume operation feel like more than just a quick caffeine stop.”

A buzzing coffee stop in the Loop - the space is clean and modern, though it’s strictly to go without any seatings indoor. There are plenty of creative coffee options - I tried the black sesame latte, which was smooth with just the right touch of sweet. A great spot for a quick mid day caffeine fix.
One of my favorite matcha spots in the city, and I love matcha, so that is saying something! My go-to order from here is a matcha lemonade with strawberry lemonade.) The wait can be a bit long, so I recommend ordering for pickup through their app. But is definitely worth the wait. It is a wonderful spot for a midday treat!
Long wait, but once you get the hang of their system you understand. It’s a high volume coffee shop. I love a good coffee but their matcha is so good! Highly recommend. Staff is nice and so is the gentleman in charge. Haven’t tried the pastries but they look delicious.
Sleek modern establishment with excellent coffee, super friendly baristas and highly engaged owner. We felt welcome the moment we walked in. Baristas are experts at their craft, carefully measuring and preparing each puck until just right while collaborating and sharing beat practices. I witnessed what looked like a nice puck being discarded because a senior employee wasn’t satisfied with its preparation. Sam the owner oversees the operation and loves talking about coffee and the source of his beans. Pride of ownership exhibited across the entire team. Cappuccino and cortado exuded strong arabica notes and crema was excellent. Americano also prepared expertly. Steam pressure is delivered via a modern under counter system which likely contributes to the high quality. There is no seating as small establishment is located in the opera building. Do yourself a favor and enjoy their excellent espresso and milk.
Very busy and popular spot with unique menu. There is still a line close to closing time but got my order in about 10 mins. Staff was friendly and helpful. Got the pink guava mocha, the chocolate sauce is rich and thick. It was a nice tasty chocolate treat with a hint of fruitiness.
